PIET 2024 Admission Procedure

The candidates will be considered eligible for the admission into PIET 2024 after clearing the exam. Admission will also be offered by the university on the basis of the national level test scores/ state level exam scores/ HSTES Panchkula merit. The JEE Main inter-section merit will be taken into consideration for admission into Engineering courses at PIET university.

The 75% of sanctioned intake will be done by the HSTES through counselling procedure as per the reservation policy notified by the Govt of Haryana. 25% of sanctioned intake will be filled by the institutions (management quota) at their own level. All the remaining seats will be filled by the institute level manual counselling procedure. The scores of CMAT/ MAT will be taken into consideration for MBA admission.

PIET 2024 Entrance Exam (PKAT)

The PIET university will conduct the entrance exam called PKAT for all the eligible candidates. It stands for PIET Knowledge Aptitude Test conducted to take admission into various undergraduate courses & postgraduate courses at the institution. This exam will be conducted through online mode.

There will be some exceptions for those candidates who will secure rank below 150000 in JEE scored or above 1200 SAT exam. The exceptions will be 60% or above in CAT, 80% or above in MAT or score of 550 or above in GMAT for MBA candidates.

PIET 2024 Result/ Merit List

The university will release the PIET 2024 merit list in the month of June/ July 2024. Candidates will be able to access the merit list through online mode only. Candidates will have to visit the website to download the merit list.

On the basis of the marks of candidates in qualifying exam, the admission procedure will be prepared. Shortlisted candidates will be able to check their names and rank in the merit list. Those selected candidates will be eligible to appear for the further admission procedure. After the interview round, the final result will be announced by the university.

PIET 2024 Counselling

The PIET 2024 counselling procedure will be organized by the authority for shortlisted candidates only. It will be commenced from the month of July/ August 2024. Candidates will be able to get admission to B.Tech./ B.E through three online off campus counselling procedure. The counselling procedure will be started on the basis of the candidates scores in the entrance exam or merit list.

The university will organize the first and second round of counselling on the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE Main. For MBA course, the admission will be provided to the candidates through institute level manual counselling & merit of the qualifying exam. At the time of counselling, candidates will have to carry the original documents for verification procedure.
