• Presidency University 2026 application form is releasing in March 2026 for PUBDET (UG) & in April 2026 for PUMDET (PG).

Presidency University 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Presidency University 2026 Eligibility criteria for various courses is mentioned below: 

For B.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates should have passed Higher Secondary or any equivalent from a recognized board. 
• Marks: In qualifying marks, candidates will be required to have “A” level certificate or certificate from International Baccalaureate (IB), with minimum of 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biology etc and with 60% aggregate marks in qualifying exam. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in any qualifying exam will be eligible for admission. 

For BBA Course: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have passed class 10+2 from a recognized board to be eligible. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates are required to obtain at least 50% marks in aggregate. 

For M.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering (B.Tech/ B.E) from a recognized university. 
• Marks: Applying candidates must obtain at least 50% aggregate marks and 45% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in any national/state/university level exam will also be eligible to apply. 

For MBA Course: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have graduated from any recognized university to apply. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in any national/ state level exam will also be eligible to apply for admission. 

Presidency University 2026 Admission Procedure 

Admission procedure of Presidency University 2026 will be organized through online mode. Based on university level/ national level/ state level exam, admission will be provided to the candidates. Those qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be eligible to get admission into various offered courses. 

Candidates will need to score more than cut off marks to get admission. It will be compulsory for the candidates to qualify the entrance exam to get admission. The authority will release the separate merit list for undergraduate & postgraduate courses on the website. The personal interview process will be organized for the candidates. 

Presidency University 2026 Entrance Exam 

To provide admission into various courses, Presidency University conducts its own university level entrance exam i.e PUMDET & PUBDET. For undergraduate courses, Presidency University Bachelor’s Degree Entrance Exam (PUBDET) & Presidency University Master’s Degree Entrance Exam (PUMDET) will be conducted. 

Exam will be conducted in June & July 2026 for UG & PG courses respectively. Candidates will be able to appear for the Presidency University exam through offline mode. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam. There will be 50 questions in each paper with 100 full marks. A total of 90 minutes will be allotted to solve the question paper. 

Presidency University 2026 Result/ Merit List 

Result of Presidency University 2026 will be announced via online mode. It will be released separately for both UG & PG level courses. Candidates will have to visit the website to access the result. Login credentials such as application number & date of birth will be required to download the result from the website. 

It will consist of the exam name, total marks, grades, enrolment number & other details. Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of result safe for further usage in admission. Those qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in further counselling procedure. 

Presidency University 2026 Counselling 

Those qualified candidates in the Presidency University 2026 entrance exam will be eligible to participate in counselling procedure. Candidates will be able to appear for counselling through online mode. There will be multiple rounds in counselling such as filling of application form, fee payment, seat allotment, reporting, etc.
