State Exam

JEE Main 2016 is all India level entrance examination conducted every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify this entrance exam for taking admission in top private colleges of the country. Candidates can also apply for admission through MH-CET 2016 examination. BVP CET 2016 (Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Common Entrance Examination) is the entrance examination conducted for taking admission in Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.

B.Tech Admission 2016

The application form of JEE Main 2016 has been provided in the month of December 2015 from the official site of the board. The application form is over now. The candidates who are looking for the B.Tech admission for the session 2016-2017 are required to appear in the JEE Main 2016, MH-CET 2016 or BVP CET 2016 examination. The eligibility conditions for the test are as follows:

• Applying candidates must have passed 10+2 with an aggregate of 50% marks from the recognized board or University with the mandatory subjects as Physics and Maths.
• The candidates belonging from the general category must have the age on or after 1 October, 1990 and SC/ST candidates must have the age after 1 October, 1985 as 5 years age relaxation will be provided for them.

Documents Required

The documents that the candidates have to bring on the day of admission are:

• Class X original mark sheet/Passing certificate
• Class XII original mark sheet/Passing certificate
• Domicile of the candidate
• Printout of the seat allotment letter
• Candidates Transfer and Character certificate
• Caste and Physical Disability certificate
• Score card of JEE Main 2016/MH-CET 2016/BVP CET 2016.

Selection Process

After the declaration of result, the next step towards the B.Tech admission process is counselling process. The qualified candidates have to undergo through the counselling process followed by the requisite payment of the counselling fee. As soon as the payment will be done, candidate will be eligible for filling the choices for colleges. Result of the allotted seats will be sent to the candidates via SMS individually. The candidates are required to download the seat allotment letter from the official site of the board and report to the allotted college within the prescribed date. Once the admission fee will be paid, the admission of the candidate is confirmed.
