Rungta Eligibility Criteria 2026

Check below Rungta Eligibility criteria for various UG/ PG courses:

For B.Tech:

• Qualifying degree: Passed 10+2 level from a recognised university or board.
• Qualifying subjects: Students in 12th level should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any one subject among CS/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Informatics practises/ IT/ Electronics/ Agriculture/ Biotechnology/ Engineering Graphics/ Technical vocational subject/ entrepreneurship/ business studies.
• Minimum Marks: General category candidates should have secured 45% marks in 12th. For reserved category, qualifying marks are 40%.
• Entrance exam scores: JEE score (+ve) OR CGPET score (+ve) are considered.

For MBA:

• Qualifying degree: Candidate should have Graduation degree from a recognised university.
• Qualifying Marks: General category candidates in their Graduation degree should have secured 50% marks. Whereas, reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) candidates should have secured 45% marks.
• Entrance Exam Score: To be eligible, candidates should have XAT/ MAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ CMAT score (+ve).

Rungta University Admission 2026 Procedure

The admission procedure of Rungta University varies for different courses. Students are given admission on the basis of various quotas – Chhattisgarh State Quota, Other State Quota and Management quota.

For B.Tech admission via CG state quota, online counselling is organised based on marks obtained in 10+2 level and in CG PET entrance test. For state quota, 10+2 scores along with JEE Main scores and for management quota seats, 12th + CG PET /JEE main are considered.
