• Subjects: To be eligible, one must have a science stream with Physics & Mathematics as a mandatory subject. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must score a minimum 45% marks to apply. 

For MBA Programme:

• Qualifications: Applying candidates must have Bachelors degree in any discipline to apply for admission. 
• Marks: In qualifying degree, one must score minimum 50% marks to be eligible. 
• Score: Candidates with valid scores in CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc entrance exam can also apply. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the final year of qualifying degree are also eligible. 

For B.Des Programme:

• Qualification: Candidates with 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from CBSE/ ISC/ State/ IB/ NIOS or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board can apply. 
• Subjects: In qualifying exam, candidates from any stream (Science/ Commerce/ Humanities or Arts) can apply. 
• Marks: To be eligible, candidates must score an aggregate of minimum 40% in the qualifying exam to apply. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing for class XII exam in the current academic year, or awaiting results may also apply for admission. 
• Selection: The selection will be based on Creative Test, Portfolio & Personal Interview at SOID.
