SRM IST Ramapuram 2022 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech:

• Nationality: Indian Resident or NRI, holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply.
• Age Criteria: Applying candidate must have attained age of 16 years and 6 months on 31^st July of the calendar year in which the 12^th Board exams are to be held.
• Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate must have passed 12^th level or appearing in current year with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics/ Agriculture/ Business Studies as major subjects in regular stream. Students must have attained minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCM.

 For B.Des:

• Qualifying Criteria: Candidate must have passed 10+2 level exam, or its equivalent exam recognised by SRMIST with minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Student can be of any group of study (Science, Commerce, Fine arts or other stream).
• Admission Criteria: Candidates can follow either any one of the criteria –
  1. UCEED Score + (Written Exam + Personal Interview) at SRMIST
  2. Written Exam + Personal Interview at SRMIST

For M.Tech:

• Construction Engineering & Management: Passed with B.E / B.Tech in Civil /Civil Infrastructure Engg./ Architectural Engg. Or B.Arch or its equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
• Structural Engineering: Passed with B.E / B.Tech in Civil /Civil Infrastructure Engg./ Architectural Engg or its equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
• Computer Aided Design: Passed with B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engg./ Production Engg / Automobile Engg. /Aerospace/ Aeronautical Engg or AMIE (Mech) / AMAeSI (Aero)/ MechE or its equivalent degree with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

SRM IST Ramapuram 2022 Admission Procedure

Admission into SRM IST Ramapuram will be offered on the basis of Entrance test and non- Entrance based programs. Admission into majority of programs is done through national level entrance exam organised by SRM IST. Only for a few courses, admission is provided directly.

On the basis of scores in IIT JEE Main/ SAT, students will be admitted directly even if the candidate doesn’t take SRMJEEE. For some courses, admission will be fully done on the basis of minimum marks secured in the qualifying examination. Non entrance based admission will be provided into B.Des and M.Arch programs.

SRM IST Ramapuram 2022 Entrance Exam

SRM IST Ramapuram will conduct entrance exam known as SRMJEEE (UG) for B.Tech admissions. While for B.Arch admissions, IIT JEE Mains -Paper II/ NATA scores will be considered.

For M.tech admission into the University, SRMJEEE (PG) or valid score in GATE & TANCET will be considered. In addition to above for Automotive Hybrid Systems Engineering – Work experience in related area is preferred.

SRM IST Ramapuram 2022 Result

SRM IST Ramapuram 2022 Result will be declared online on the website few days after the conclusion of exams. The authority will announce the selected candidates who will be eligible for participation in the further counselling process.

No result will be sent to students through offline mode. The result may be presented to the candidates on the website in the form of merit list in PDF format.

SRM IST Ramapuram 2022 Counselling

After declaration of result, selected candidates will move further for SRM IST Ramapuram 2022 counselling process. The counselling will be organised by the University on the campus. Before appearing for counselling, candidates must register for the counselling process.
