• Candidates can complete the registration procedure through online mode only. 
• SRMHCAT 2026 application form has been released for various UG & PG level courses. 
• Before proceeding to fill form, candidates must fulfill the complete eligibility criteria. 
• Initially, candidates will have to register themselves by entering the basic information. 
• After registration, fill out the application form with details such as personal, academic qualification, communication, etc. 
• During form filling, candidates must be careful & need to provide valid information, as no correction facility will be provided by the university. 
• Upload the scanned documents such as photograph, signatures and any other supporting documents in prescribed format. 
• The deadline to submit the SRMHCAT 2026 application form will be till June 2026. 
• Submit the form, & do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage. 

Application Fee: 

• SRMHCAT 2026 application fee can be submitted through online mode. 
• Rs. 1100/- is the application fee that needs to be submitted.

SRMHCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech (CSE): 

• Qualifications: Applying candidates must have completed 10+2 exam or its equivalent from a recognized university/ institution. 
• Marks: Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in subject mentioned below. 
• Subjects: One must pass the qualifying examination with Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with any one of the Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ CS/ IT/IP/ Engineering Graphics/ Agriculture/ Technical Vocational subject/ Engineering Graphics/ Agriculture/ Business Studies. 

For BCA: 

• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must have qualified 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognized board or university OR 
• Candidates who have completed a 3 years diploma course or any other exam after SSC (10th) recognized by SBTE can apply. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks to apply. 
• Subjects: Applying candidates must have English as one of the core subjects in the 10+2 exam. 

For MBA Course: 

• Qualification: Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/ institution will be eligible to apply. 
• Marks Criteria: In qualifying exam, candidates must score a minimum 50% marks to apply. 
• Scores: Candidates with a valid scorecard of SRMHCAT/CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT entrance exam & Interview can apply. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the final year of qualifying exam can also apply for admission. 

SRMHCAT 2026 Admission Procedure 

SRMHCAT 2026 admission procedure will be organised through online mode. It will be organized for various UG & PG level courses. It will consist with various steps such as application process, slot booking, choice filling, allotment process, fee payment, verification of documents, physical enrollment, etc. 

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria. After the provisional allotment letter will be issued based on preliminary eligibility, GD, and interview process. Those eligible candidates in the entrance exam will be able to participate in each round of the admission procedure. 

SRMHCAT 2026 Entrance Exam 

SRMHCAT 2026 exam will be conducted through online CBT mode. SRM University Haryana Common Aptitude Test (SRMHCAT) is conducted by SRM University, Haryana. A total of 2 hours and 30 minutes will be given to solve the entrance exam. In the exam, MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) will be asked.

A total of 100 questions will be given on paper. The exam will be available in English language only. For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded to the candidates & 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Those qualified candidates in the exam will be able to participate in further counselling procedures. 

SRMHCAT 2026 Result/ Merit List 

The result of SRMHCAT 2026 will be announced through online mode. After successful completion of the entrance exam, university will declare the result on the website. Login credentials will be required to download the result from the website. 

SRMHCAT 2026 Scorecard will also be released by the university after the declaration of result. Qualified candidates in entrance exam will be able to participate in the counselling process. The merit list will also be prepared by the university. Those candidates whose name will be present in the merit list will be eligible to participate in counselling. 

SRMHCAT 2026 Cut Off 

SRMHCAT 2026 cut off will be released for various UG & PG level programmes by the university. It will be the minimum marks required to be secured by the candidates in entrance exam to get admissions in the university. After the declaration of result, cut off marks will be published. 

There will be various factors to determine the cut off marks such as number of applicants, exam difficulty level, previous year cut off trends, etc. The university will release the cut off marks to determine the chances of getting admission into their preferred courses. 

SRMHCAT 2026 Counselling 

The counselling procedure of SRMHCAT 2026 will be organized through online/ offline mode. After the declaration of result, SRMHCAT 2026 counseling will be conducted. Candidates will be able to participate in counselling in August 2026. University will release the counselling schedule soon, as per that candidates will have to attend the counselling. 

On the day of counseling, candidates will have to carry the copy of application form, payment receipt and all other relevant documents for verification purposes. After verifying all the documents, certificates & admission fee submissions, the final admission will be given to the candidates.
