The Government of Tamil Nadu has authorised Anna University to conduct TANCET entrance exam. Through this exam, candidates will get admission in MBA and MCA programs. The admission to M.Tech/M.E,/M.Arch/M.Plan courses will be offered to candidates through CEETA-PG exam which is also conducted by the Anna University. Qualified candidates will get admission among several public as well as private institutions located across the Tamil Nadu State.

TANCET 2024 Result

The TANCET 2024 Result will be  declared by university in first week of July 2024. The result will be made available to candidates those have successfully appeared for entrance examination. Candidates will get their result through online mode on the website. 

The university will also publish scorecard of TANCET 2024 after the 10 days of declaration of result. To check their result/scorecard, candidates will have to login with their email ID and password. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for counselling and further admission process.

How to Download TANCET 2024 Result

To download TANCET 2024 Result, candidates must follow these steps:

• Visit the TANCET website (link will be provided above).
• Click on that link and candidates will be navigated to the university’s website homepage.
• Provide login details in the candidate’s login window.
• Click on “Submit” button.
• TANCET 2024 Result will appear on the computer screen
• Download the result and take several printouts of it.

The scorecard of TANCET 2024 will be downloaded by candidates within a few days after the declaration of result of entrance examination. TANCET 2024 Rank List

The TANCET Rank list 2024 will be accessed by candidates through online mode.  The TANCET rank list will be released for qualified candidates only. Candidates having their name on the rank list will be invited to participate in counselling rounds. The rank list will consist of TANCET marks, community and community rank obtained by candidates. 

TANCET 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria

The university will use TANCET Tie-Breaking criteria while preparing the rank list. The tie-breaking will be used to determine the rank, in case two or more candidates scored same marks in entrance exam.

The following tie-breaking criteria will be applied by the authority:

• Higher rank will be given to candidates scoring higher marks.
• The candidates with less number of incorrect answers will be ranked higher.
• The candidates with a higher number of correct answers will be ranked higher.
• Candidates older in age will be ranked higher.

TANCET 2024 Cut Off

The university will set a minimum qualifying TANCET 2024 cut-off marks and rank in order to select candidates for admission into various colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.  The TANCET 2024 Cut-off will be prepared category-wise for various colleges.

Only those candidates who have obtained minimum cut off marks and rank will be considered eligible for admission. Based on the cut-off of TANCET 2024, a rank list will be prepared.

TANCET 2024 Counselling

The TANCET 2024 Counselling process will begin in fourth week of April 2024. After the declaration of result, shortlisted candidates will be invited for counselling process. The shortlisted candidates will be informed through a counselling call letter for participation.
