KCET 2023 Application Form has been re-opened on 11th May 2023. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority). Karnataka CET is a state level entrance exam conducted every year. The exam is conducted for candidates who want to seek admission in Undergraduate courses. The qualified candidates will get admission in various courses like Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture, etc. Candidates who want to take admission in dental/ medical or AYUSH courses will be based on NEET scores. For architecture courses admission will be provided through NATA or JEE Main scores. Here are the details regarding the KCET Application form 2023 given below:
- Candidate must check the eligibility norms before applying for the application form.
- The application form for KCET 2023 has been released on 2nd March 2023.
- Candidates need to enter the details like Name, academic details, email id, phone number, etc.
- KCET 2023 application form is available through online mode.
- Upload the scanned recent photograph and signature in the application form.
- The authority has also provided the correction facility for the candidates from 12th April 2023 for some specific fields only.
- The last date for the application form submission is till 5th April 2023.
- Candidates need to take the printout of the application form for future reference.
Application Fee:
- The application fee for general/ OBC candidate is Rs 500/- and for SC/ ST/ Women candidates is Rs 250/-.
- Candidates can use debit card, credit card and net banking facility to pay the fee.
- Candidate will be able to pay the fee through challan to one of the designated bank or e-post office.
- After uploading the documents in application form, candidates will be able to download the challan.
KCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must check the eligibility criteria for KCET 2023 given below:
For Engineering courses:
- Qualification: Candidate must pass 12th or equivalent from any recognized board.
- Subject: In qualifying exam candidate must pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subject.
- Marks: The minimum marks candidate must obtain at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in 12th final exam will be eligible to apply for the admission.
Other courses:
- For B. Pharma: Candidates must qualify 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subject. They must score 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST category).
- B.Arch.: Candidate must pass 12th class with 50% marks with Mathematics as compulsory subject. Candidate must have valid score of JEE Main (Paper 2) or NATA.
- BVSc. and A.H:The candidate must qualify 12th with 50% and there will be 5% of relaxation will be given for ST/ ST category. Candidate must pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- BDS/ MBBS/ AYUSH courses: Candidate must pass 12thintermediate in PCB with 50% marks. In 12thcandidate must have English as compulsory subject. Also candidate must have valid scorecard of NEET.

How to Apply for KCET 2023
Here are steps for filling the online application form for KCET 2023 given below:
- Go to the website (link is given above).
- Candidates have to select “UGCET- 2023 Online Application” on website.
- Candidates have to click on “New User? Click Here to Register” on the home page of online application form.
- After successful registration candidate will receive Application number and User ID to registered mobile number and email id.
- A login will display and candidates are required to enter User ID and Password created by them and login.
- Then candidate must make the payment by following payment methods like Debit card/ Credit card, UPI, BHIM, Net Banking.
- On successful login candidate have to enter details like name, academic details, phone number, test center, etc.
- Then candidates will enter the details and select “save and next” button.
- Then candidate have to upload the scanned documents like photograph, signature, and parent signature and select “save and next button” button.
- The scanned photograph and signature must be in JPG/ JPEG format separately.
- Candidate have to draft printout carefully and verify the entries made by them if any changes are required they can login number of times before selecting the declaration.
- After completing the details candidate have to take final printout of application from on A-4 size sheet of paper.

Kodava and either of parent was domiciled in the state of Karnataka, such candidate
should have passed the qualifying examination from a University or Board or any other
