Know your Syllabus:

UGC NET exam will be conducted in two sessions (Paper 1 & 2). Paper 1 will contain general aptitude questions and paper 2 will be of concerned subject.

Candidates will be required to go through UGC NET Syllabus thoroughly. Understand the syllabus completely and prepare each topic accordingly.

Prepare Notes:

During the exam preparation time, candidate should regularly prepare the notes of all important and difficult topics. Writing note also helps in remembering things easily.

UGC NET 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates preparing for UGC NET 2023 exam are advised to check the UGC NET Exam pattern. With the help of this candidates will get to know about exam mode, exam medium, type of questions, total marks, marking scheme etc. In the below section, the exam pattern for UGC NET 2023 has been described.

  • UGC NET 2023 exam will be conducted in online mode (computer based test).
  • Exam paper will be conducted in two sessions, paper 1 and paper 2.
  • Paper 1 will be conducted in session first and paper 2 in session second.
  • The question paper will contain objective type questions having four options with one correct answer.
  • Questions in Paper 1 will be from teaching/ research aptitude.
  • Questions in paper 2 will be based on subject selected by the candidate.
  • Time duration for paper 1 will be 1 hour and for paper 2 it will be 2 hours.
  • There will be 50 questions in paper 1 and 100 questions in paper 2.
  • All the questions will be compulsory to attempt.
  • Candidates will be awarded 2 marks for each correct response.

    I have a doubt in the Ph.D admissions first like written test(CBT) Ok,then interview must and should or not ? or if any direct admissions on reserved candidates like OBC.
