State Exam
The admission to various private and government engineering colleges in Uttarakhand is based on the JEE Main exam. Uttarakhand B.Tech Admission 2016 will be carried throughout the JEE Main 2016. It will be comprised in two papers. The B.Tech lateral entry examination called as UKSEE 2016 will also be carried out in Uttarakhand state.

B.Tech Admission 2016
The JEE Main application form 2016 has been over now. Counselling process of JEE Main 2016 will commence from 24th June, 2016. Eligibility criteria for this exam are as follows:
- The candidates must have passed their 10+2 Examinations from any recognized Board.
- The candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as necessary subjects, and either Chemistry or Computer Science or Biology or Biotechnology as the other necessary subject.
- The candidates should have obtained minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC candidates) in the subjects combined.
Documents Required
The candidates should have to come with the following documents:
- Class 10th & 12th certificate
- Birth certificate
- Scanned copy of candidate’s full signature or Left-hand thumb impression
- JEE Main score card
- JEE Main admit card
- Domicile certificate
- Category certificate
- Printed copy of allotment letter.
Selection Process
The candidates who have qualified the JEE Main exam 2016, are eligible to participate in the JEE Main 2016 counselling. The complete counselling process will be conducted by CSAB. The seat allotment for the JEE Main 2016 will be done on the basis of rank scored by the candidates. The candidates can allot the seats of the participating private and government engineering colleges, as per their favorites. The counselling and allotment of seats will be conducted in 4 rounds. After the round 4 is over, the board may conduct on mark seat allotment round for all vacant seats in JEE Main 2016.
For the admission procedure, the candidates can pay their fee through the online and offline process. The candidates have to pay the fees by using bank Challan. The candidates have to enter their roll no. of JEE Main and the password generated during registration. Offline applicants can pay the fee through the cash payment in any of the banks. The candidates are advised to take out the printout of the all the necessary documents for future admission process.
