VELS University 2022 Application Form has been started for various UG & PG courses. VELS Institute of Science Technology and Advanced Studies Admission is managed by Vaels Educational Trust. This is a private deemed to be university, located in Chennai & established in the year 1992. University offers admission in various UG, PG, integrated and doctoral courses. Admission in various courses is offered through VELS Entrance Exam (VEE) and merit of the last qualifying exam. However, VEE has been cancelled in year 2020 for professional courses. University also accepts MAT/XAT/ CAT scores for management admission. • Application form has been made available through online mode on the website.
• Application process will be completed in various steps – basic registration, filling of personal & academic details, fee submission, document uploads etc.

VELS University 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill VELS University eligibility norms before applying. Here we have mentioned eligibility criteria for different courses:

For UG Courses:

B.Tech

• Qualifications: Candidates should have passed higher secondary examination or its equivalent from any recognized board.
• Subjects: Candidates must have mathematics, physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects.
• Marks Criteria: Must obtain at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
• Appearing: Candidates those are appearing in 12^th or equivalent class can also apply.

B.Pharma

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 level examination from a recognized board.
• Subjects: Physics, chemistry, mathematics, or biology/ botany & zoology will be as compulsory subjects.

BCA

• Qualification: Candidates should pass 10^th and 12^th class examination from any recognized school or board.
• Subjects: It is compulsory for the candidates to have Mathematics or computer science/ business Mathematics/ statistics subjects in their qualifying examination.

For PG Courses:

M.Tech

• Qualifications: Candidates must have B.E/ B.Tech degree in respective from any recognized institute/ university.
• Appearing: Fourth year appearing candidates can also apply.

MBA

• Qualification: Candidates must have bachelor’s degree in B. Tech/ B.E in any discipline, B.Sc., BBA, B.Com or BCA from any recognized institute.
• Appearing: Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

VELS University 2022 Admission Procedure

VELS University 2022 Admission Procedure will be completed in various factors. Application process for the VELS Admission has been started. Admission in various courses is provided through entrance examination and last qualifying examination.

Candidates will have to appear in the VEE entrance test after submission of the application form. Based on entrance examination or last qualifying examination, merit list will be prepared. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview and other rounds.

VELS University Entrance Examination (VEE)

VEE entrance examination is conducted to offer admission in various fields except professional courses. Examination will be conducted through online mode by the university.

Exam qualified candidates will be eligible for further interview rounds. Admission in management courses will be offered through XAT/ MAT/ CAT etc. examinations. VELS Examination for professional courses has been cancelled from the year 2020. Admission in these courses will be offered through last year qualifying examination.

VELS University 2022 Merit/ Result

Merit list will be released after conducting the entrance examination. Candidates will be able to check their results through online mode using login details. Merit list will be prepared based on VEE exam and marks obtained by the candidates in last year examination.

Candidates must check details carefully given on the merit list/ result. In case of any mistakes in details, immediately contact to the official authority.

VELS University 2022 Cut Off

Cut off will be released with the result or few days after the declaration of result. It will be released through online mode on the website. Cut off will be the minimum marks candidates have to obtain in the entrance examination.

Candidates who will get minimum cut off marks will be eligible for further admission rounds. Cut off list will be prepared based on various factors like number of students appeared, availability of seats, difficulty level of exam, previous year qualifying marks etc.

VELS University 2022 Counselling/ Admission

VELS University admission procedure will be started after declaration of the result. Eligible candidates will be called for counselling or interview rounds. It will be necessary for the candidates to participate in the counselling process.

Counselling will be completed in various rounds i.e. registration, seat allotment, document verification etc. Seat will be allocated to the eligible candidates.

Candidates who will get seats in counselling procedure, will need to report at the reporting center with required documents and admission fee. Without verification of the documents, admission process will not be completed.
