VITEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the complete eligibility criterion to get admission successfully in VIT. Candidate will not be allowed to sit for the exam in case they fail to meet the eligibility criteria later:

Nationality:

• Indian and Non-Resident Indian/OCI/PIO candidates are eligible to apply.
• Foreign candidates can also apply.

Age Criteria:

• Applying candidate must have born on or after July 1, 2004.
• Candidates must fill the DOB as per mentioned in High School certificate. Candidates are required to produce their High school certificate at the time of counselling as proof of their age.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates appearing for entrance test must have completed or appearing in any of the below qualifying exams:

• 10+2 level exams organized by Central Board of Secondary Education/The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination/State Board.
• Intermediate or two years Pre University Examination conducted by a recognized University or Board.
• General Certificate Education examination (Sri Lanka/Cambridge/London) at the advanced level (A).
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University/Pearson Edexcel regulated by UK For PCM : Physics & Mathematics – A Level/ Chemistry – A/AS Level and English – A/AS Level
  For PCB : Physics & Biology – A Level/ Chemistry – A/AS Level and English – A/AS Level
• High School Certificate Examination of the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
  For PCM : Physics & Mathematics – HL, Chemistry – SL/HL
  For PCB : Physics & Biology – HL, Chemistry – SL/HL
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board.
• Applicants who have completed the Class 12 or equivalent examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a equivalence certificate.
• Candidates who have appeared for the +2 exam through different boards in the same academic year are not eligible to appear for VITEEE 2026.
• For Indian nationals, appearing in VITEEE 2026 is mandatory to be eligible for B.Tech. admission.
• In case VITEEE 2026 gets cancelled due to natural calamities or causes beyond the control of the institute, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks. Applicants shall be informed accordingly.

Qualifying Exam Marks & Subjects:

• Candidates in their 10+2 level must have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in PCB/PCM and with not less than 50% in Mathematics/Biology with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
• Candidates belonging to ST/SC categories and north eastern/Jammu and Kashmir/ladakh region must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCB or PCM subjects.
• Students who have studied Physics, Mathematics/Biology, and Chemistry are eligible to apply for B.Tech programmes.

VITEEE 2026 Application Form

The VITEEE application form is made available through online mode. The registration process has begin from 24th October 2025. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are the ones who can apply.

Candidates can fill out the online application through the website. Candidates are required to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

Through online mode, the application fee (Rs.1350) can be paid through debit/credit card, UPI or net banking. The e-receipt will be generated after the successfull fee payment. Candidates must keep a printout of the application form for further use.

Registration forms for those candidates will be rejected who will fail to submit or pay application fees successfully and will have errors in the application.
