XAT 2024 Result has been announced on 20th January 2024 through online mode. Xaviers Aptitude Test (XAT) is an entrance exam conducted every year by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on behalf of the XAMI (Xaviers Association of Management Institute). 

The Xaviers Labour Relation Institute (XLRI) is conducting this test at all India level for selecting most appropriate candidate for management education. This exam is conducted to offer admission into management  courses. 

Besides XAMI member institutes and XLRI, scores of XAT are recognised by more than 160 B-colleges across the nation for their admission process. The XAT 2024 Result can be accessed through online mode. The authority has declared the result on 20th January 2024. Candidates have to go through the online website link and login using necessary login details such as email ID and password.

The authority has also published XAT scorecard which is made available to candidates along with the result. The candidates will be shortlisted for admission procedure on the basis of  scores obtained in entrance exam.

How to Download XAT 2024 Result

Here are the step-by-step procedure to download XAT 2024 Result:

• Firstly, visit online website link (link is available above).
• On clicking that link, a new login window will appear on the screen.
• Provide the login details such as email address and password  in the space given.
• Then click on “login” tab.
• The XAT result will be generated on the computer screen.
• Download the result and take a print out of it.
• Candidates must ensure to keep a hardcopy of results safely till the admission procedure gets over. 

XAT 2024 Scorecard

The XAT 2024 Scorecard is made available for download through online mode. The candidates are able to download their scorecard from 20th January 2024 till 31st March 2024. To download XAT scorecards, candidates have to enter their login credentials on the XAT Login page. 

The candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on scores obtained in entrance examination. XAT scorecard will consist of performance of candidates in XAT 2024 exam. The authority will not send a hardcopy of XAT result.

XAT 2024 Merit List

The authority will prepare a merit list of XAT 2024 through online mode. XAT 2024 Merit List will be prepared by the authority on the basis of marks scored by candidates in entrance examination. 

Candidates will be able to view the merit list after the declaration of result. Candidates will get shortlisted for counselling and admission procedure based on XAT 2024 Merit list. The seats will be allotted to shortlisted candidates only.

Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case two or more candidates obtained equal marks in entrance examination, university will apply the tie-breaking criteria to determine the rank. The rank will be determined by using the following XAT 2024 tie-breaking criteria:

• The highest rank will be given to candidates scoring higher marks.
• The higher rank will be assigned to candidates with less number of wrong answers.
• The higher rank will be assigned to candidates with greater number of right answers.
• The older candidate will be assigned a higher rank.

XAT 2024 Cut Off

The XAT cut off consist of minimum cut-off marks which a candidate must secure to be eligible to get admission in university. The cut-off is made available to candidates through online mode on the website. It has been announced after the declaration of result. Students are able to check cut off in the PDF format.

XAT 2024 Counselling

The authority will conduct XAT Counselling procedure 2024 through offline mode. The counselling procedure will be held to shortlist those candidates willing to get admission in university. The authority will conduct counselling after the announcement of result and merit list. 

Candidates will be called for counselling procedure on the basis of marks scored and merit obtained by them in XAT 2024. The counselling procedure will include Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds for selection. 

Candidates applied for multiple programs will be called for multiple interview and group discussion rounds. Candidates will have to participate in both rounds of counselling to be considered eligible for admission.
