Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faridkot

Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology, (AIET) Faridkot, is a private aided institute established in the year 1996. The college is a flagship institute of Adesh group of institutions. The AIET was established with the aim of providing high quality education in the field of Engineering and Technology with a close interaction with the industry. The institute is affiliated to PTU Jalandhar and approved by AICTE New Delhi.

Campus:

The campus of AIET is spread over an area of 30 acres of land. The college is situated on the main Faridkot-Sadiq Road and is 12 km from Railway station city Bus-stand, hence well connected to all means of transport.

Programmes:

The courses offered by AIET include six undergraduate engineering courses in various disciplines with an intake capacity of total 420 students. The institute is also offering postgraduate courses in engineering and management with the total intake capacity of 132 students.

Facilities:

The AIET provides facilities like fully equipped labs and workshops, fully air-conditioned computer centre having 530 computers with high speed internet connectivity and equipped with latest hardware and software all according to AICTE norms. The college has spacious and well stocked library with a huge collection of 20000 books and more than 100 national and international publication, the other facilities provided by the college include sports and gymnasium, hostel facility, mess and canteen, transportation etc.

Placement:

The college has a fully fledged office for Training and Placement related activities. The college provides training to the students in the college premises by collaborating with leading companies like Microsoft Academy, IBM, and Siemens. The cell also helps the students in the overall personality development by focusing on their communication skill, soft skill, and group discussion.

Activities:

The students participate in all major events organized throughout the year by the college, these events include social activities, cultural event, tech fest, sports day celebration etc.
