Adesh Institute of Technology, Gharuan
Adesh Institute of Technology, (AIT) Gharuan is a private aided engineering college located in Mohali district of Punjab. The college is a part of Adesh Group established in the year 1989. The group has established the first engineering college in Punjab. The group has been established with the objective of providing high quality education in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Management and Medical Sciences. The group is successfully running 17 institutions in the district of Punjab. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University Jalandhar, and approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Punjab.
Campus:
The AIT is situated at the Gharuan village in Mohali district of Punjab. The college campus is spread in an area of 15 acres of lush green and pollution free environment. The college is situated at a distance of 15km from Chandigarh on the Chandigarh-Ludhiana highway.
Programmes:
The college is offering five courses in undergraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of B.tech, with the total intake capacity of 300 students. The courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar.
Facilities:
The AIT provides facilities like fully Wi-Fi enabled campus, spacious and ventilated classrooms, state of the art laboratories and workshops, seminar hall, Air conditioned computer centre equipped with latest hardware and software, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, the College has well stocked library with state of the art learning technologies consisting of good collection of books and journals. The other facility provided by the college includes mess, canteen, sports and medical and transportation.
Placement:
The AIT Training and Placement department always assist the students in their training and campus recruitment process. The Placement cell ensures that every student gets the opportunity in the campus recruitment. The cell also focuses on all-round personality development of the students and conducts various personality development and Training programs.
