Agra College is one of the ancient educational institutions of North India. It was established in the year of 1823 founded by the great astrologer Late Pt. Gangadhar Shastri. The piece of land of this college has been donated to him by the former Maratha ruler of Gwalior Maharaja Madhav Raj Sindhiya in the year 1796.  The college is affiliated to D. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra and approved by the AICE and MHRD, New Delhi. The college is recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education and State Government of UP.

Agra College is situated on Grand Truck Road in the city area of Agra the district of UP and former Capital of Mugals.  The historical & unique architectural design of this college attracts the students globally. The campus sprawls in lush green gardens and green landscape.
