Doaba Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mohali

Doaba Institute of Engineering and Technology, (DIET) Mohali is a private aided engineering college located in Mohali district of Punjab. The college was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of Doaba Khalsa Trust. The DIET college is a flagship college of Doaba Group of Colleges. The DIET college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University Jalandhar, and has been approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Punjab.

Campus:

The DIET is located at Kharar in Mohali district of Punjab. The college campus is spread in an area of 10 acres of lush green land.  The college is well connected to roads since it is situated on the state highway and just 12 km from Chandigarh.

Programmes:

The Institute is offering three courses in undergraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of B.tech. The college is also offering three courses in postgraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of M.Tech, the courses offered by the college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to PTU Jalandhar.

Facilities:

The college has Wi-Fi enabled campus so that the students and staff can access internet from anywhere inside the campus, other facility includes well spacious and ventilated classrooms, state of the art labs and workshops, computer centre, hostel facility for boys and girls, well stocked library. The other facility provided by the college includes canteen, mess, sports and transportation.

Placement:

The Training and Placement cell of the DIET is the essential part of the college. The T&P cell of the DIET arranges job opportunities for all the eligible and interested students and invites best companies of different industries for Campus recruitments. Apart from this the cell also guides students for career counseling, personality development and improvement of their presentation skills.
