Gulzar Group of Institutes- Faculty of Engineering, Ludhiana

Gulzar Group of Institutes (GGI) Faculty of Engineering, Ludhiana is a private aided college established in the year 2009. The college is located in Ludhiana district of Punjab. The college has been set up with clear mission of providing excellence in the field of education with world class facilities. The GGI is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar and approved by AICTE New Delhi ministry of HRD, Governmentt Of India.

Campus:

The campus of the CGI is located at Khanna, in Ludhiana (Punjab). The college campus is spread in an area of 15 acres and comprises of all major facilities. The college is located 5 km from Khanna bus stand, 5 km from the Khanna railway station and 34 km from Ludhiana city railway station.

Programmes:

The college is offering eight courses in the graduate engineering discipline and two courses in polytechnic disciplines. The courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and affiliated to PTU.

Facilities:

The major facilities provided by GGI include spacious and ventilated classrooms with ultra modern facilities like projector, A.C, sound system. The college has well equipped labs, well stocked library having more than 12000 books, 90+ journals and a subscription to 30 magazines (technical and general), the college has fully featured computer centre with well equipped hardware and software. The college also provides transport facility, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, canteen and mess facility etc.

Placement:

The Training and Placement cell of GGI is well equipped to handle presentations, pre-placement talks, group discussions and all types of interview sessions. The T&P cell provides the platform to every student so that they can be placed in top organization of the world. The college organizes placement week in which large number of companies visit the campus for on spot placement of the candidates. The college also organizes job fairs every year in which the students gets the opportunities to get themselves placed in the top organizations.
