Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology, (KCET) Amritsar, is a private aided institute located in Amritsar district of Punjab. The college was established in the year 2009. The KCET is the flagship institution of Khalsa college society which is a highly renowned society established in the year 1892, the college was established by the society with the objective to develop creative, competent and motivated professional who are capable of independent thinking, and lifelong learning, with ever-changing needs and requirements. The KCET is affiliated to PTU Jalandhar and approved by AICTE New Delhi.
Campus:
The KCET College is located at Ranjit Avenue in Amritsar district of Punjab. The college campus is situated in the heart of the holy Amritsar city. The college is well connected by all means of transport, located at a distance 2 Km from railway station, 3 km from the bus station and just 9 km from airport.
Programmes:
The college is offering four courses in undergraduate engineering discipline, with the total intake capacity of 420 students; the college is also offering part-time M.tech for the period of 3 years. The admission to the KCET on various seats is done on the basis of Jee Score and 33% of the seats are filled through management quota.
Facilities:
The college provides all major facilities to the students like well equipped labs, spacious and well furnished classrooms, well stocked and spacious college library having DELNET facility and a collection of over 10000 books, and journals of national and international publication. The college has well equipped internet labs with internet connectivity of 12 Mbps and 24×7 connectivity. The other facilities provided by the college include transportation facility, mess and canteen facility, sports facility etc.
Placement:
The college has a separate Training and Placement department which help the students, in their training and placement related activities. The cell interacts with companies around the globe, in order to provide training and placement activities to the students.

The students of KCET participate in the various co curricular and extracurricular activities, the college encourages the students to participate in these activities for their overall development, some of these activities are: Sport Meet, Jigyasa, debates, seminars etc.
