Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana is popularly known as LCET is one of the premier institutes of engineering in the Punjab state. The college was established in the year 2002 by the Vikas Educational Society for the purpose of providing quality higher education in the region. The LCET is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, (PTU) Jalandhar and approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Punjab.

Campus:

The college is located at the Katani Kalan village in Ludhiana district of Punjab. The college campus is situated on Ludhiana-Chandigarh road at a distance 10 km from Ludhiana. The college campus has lush green outfields, with pollution free environment for focused learning.

Programmes:

The college is offering fiver undergraduate engineering courses in various disciplines leading to the degree of Bachelor of Technology. The college is also offering courses in BBA, BCA, MBA, and M.tech. All the courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University. The college is one of the first institutes in PTU to offer Automobile engineering as an undergraduate course.

Facilities:

The college provides all sufficient facilities to the students. The major facilities provided by the college are well equipped labs, state of the art workshops, well spacious and ventilated classrooms, gymnasium and sports facility, the LCET has well stocked and fully furnished library having good collection of books and journals, the other facility provided by the college include hostel, mess, canteen etc.

Placement:

The placement cell of LCET was established in the year 2007. The advisory board of cell consists of renowned academicians, industrialists and bureaucrats. The main objective of the cell is to organize campus interviews for pre-final & final year students, and to place maximum no. of student’s in top companies.
