NDA II 2023 Final Result has been announced. NDA 2024 Result will be declared in first week of May 2024 for NDA 1. NDA (National Defence Academy) exam is a national level entrance examination held twice a year. This exam provides admission into the Indian Military, Indian Airforce, and Indian Army. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Applicants successfully qualify this exam are shortlisted for SSB round. The selection process includes a written exam and an SSB interview. The exam is divided into two sessions – NDA I and NDA II.

NDA 2024 Result will be announced through online mode in the form of pdf. The result will be published in first week of May 2024 for NDA I and first week of September 2024 for NDA II. Applicants are suggested to download the pdf available on the website and keep it secure for admission procedure.

How to Download NDA 2024 Result

Candidates will be required to go through the following steps to download the NDA 2024 Result:

• NDA results will appear on the computer screen. 
• The result will be available in PDF format. 
• Click on  “download pdf” button  to view the result and download it. 
• Keep a print copy of the result for further use. 

NDA 2024 Merit List 

Union Public Service Commision (UPSC) will release the NDA 2024 Merit list along with results. It will be released through online mode on the website. 

NDA merit list will be compiled using the results of the written exam and SSB interview. Candidates for the Army/ Navy/ Naval Academy and Airforce must obtain the minimum qualifying marks individually in the NDA written exam. 

Applicants are placed on a single combined NDA merit list based on their total marks in the written exam and SSB examinations.

Tie Breaking Criteria 

When two or more candidates receive equal aggregate marks in the NDA exam, ties are broken according to age. This indicates that candidates who are older in age will be given the preference. The following are tie- breaking policies:

• In the situation of equal aggregate marks,  a candidate who is older may be assigned a higher rank.
• If two candidates have same age and aggregate marks, the one with the better aggregate scores in the written exam will be ranked higher. 

NDA 2024 Cut Off 

NDA 2024 Cut Off criteria will be provided online in the form of a PDF. The Army, Navy, and Air Force will release their own cut off list. The cut off for the written exam will be released first, followed by final cut off for the SSB interview phase. 

NDA cut off marks are the minimum marks required to qualify for the exam. Only candidates who meet or exceed the cut off criteria will be allowed to participate in interview process. 

Cut off criteria are determined by a variety of factors such as exam difficulty level, applicants marks, previous year pattern and much more. 

NDA 2024 SSB Interview 

NDA SSB Interview 2024 will be the final stage of the NDA entrance procedure. Candidates who pass the written test stage with a score higher than the cut off will be invited to the SSB interview phase. 

The authority will commence the SSB Interview in two stages over the course of four days. Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) and picture perception and description exam (PP & DT) will be part of stage 1 process. 

Candidates will go through a series of processes at stage 2 including an interview, officer tasks, group testing,  a psychology test and a conference.
