Nitte University, Mangalore

Nitte University, Mangalore was established in 2008 with a mission to develop Nitte Education Trust as a centre of excellence, imparting quality education, generating competent, skilled and human manpower to face the challenges of tomorrow. The university is ‘A’ category Deemed University by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade.
Nitte is a destination of choice for students from within the country and abroad. In education for over 40 years now, Nitte was awarded the Deemed to be University status in 2008, has been accredited with ‘A+’ by NAAC, and is ranked 77th in NIRF 2021. With 3 campuses, 43 institutions, 130 courses, 4500 faculty, 20000 students, vibrant placement cells, and collaborations with universities abroad.

Campus

The university is home to several schools. The campus is adequately maintained with support staff and systems that cater to everyday needs. The university has one campus for various courses offered by such as institutions of engineering, Management, Health Care, Mass communication, Architecture, Technical and many other schools and colleges affiliated to this university. It has 43 institutions spread in its three campuses.

Facilities

The university has all facilities with necessary instruments in all its campuses. The laboratories are also equipped with latest instruments. The university has spacious, well-equipped and well-maintained classrooms with all teaching aids for all streams. There are other facilities like analytical instrument room, computer room, workshops, hostels, canteen and transportation facilities.

Programmes

Nitte University offers course training in Engineering, Medicine, Health sciences, Architecture, Management, Communications modules among others. The pharmacy courses are offered by the university in its Nitte Gulabi shetty Memorial Institute of pharmaceutical sciences. The placement cell guide students in the training and placement process for choosing the right profession. In the previous year, 400+ Recruiters visited and  43 LPA is Highest Package. The Placement cell of the university organizes on-campus interviews.
