Raja Balwant Singh College, Agra

Raja Balwant Singh College (RBS College) was established in the year of 1885 as a small boarding house for 20 students. It was raised to the level of high school in 1899, intermediate in 1928 and Degree College in 1940. The college is affiliated to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra and approved by the AICTE, MHRD, COA, PCI and MHFW, New Delhi. It is accredited as B rank by NAAC. The college is recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education and State Government of UP.

Campus:

RBS College has three campuses spread over in two district Agra and Etah. The college has Awagarh Farm and Bichpuri campus beside the main campus as Khandari House situated on RBS Road in Agra the district of UP.

Programmes:

RBS College is offering more than 45 academic programmes as diploma, UG and PG in various fields of academic, vocational and professional studies.

Students:

RBS College has around 2000 students as an intake capacity in all departments of all campuses. A team of highly motivated members of faculty equipped sound knowledge is providing the quality education to the students.

Facilities:

The college has a well designed infrastructure with library, laboratories, playground, well ventilated and spacious classrooms, transportation, guest house, canteen, medical care and computer centre with internet facility.

Placements:

The college has a good placement record since its inception. A team of 6 members as placement coordinators is providing the industry interaction, trainings, PDP and final placement in various companies.

The college conducts NCC, NSS and other campaign like alumni meet, industrial visits, annual sports and annual ceremony.
