Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jalandhar

Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Engineering and Technology, (SBBSIET) Jalandhar, was established in the year 2003. The college is a private aided institute established under the aegis of Sant Baba Bhagh Singh Memorial Charitable Society. The college was established with the objective of spreading quality technical education in the region and helping the students of weaker sections of society. The SBBSIET is affiliated to PTU Jalandhar and approved by AICTE New Delhi.

Campus:

The SBBSIET is located at Padhiana village in Jalandhar district of Punjab. The college provides all sufficient facilities to its students. The campus is connected to all major cities by fast and frequent transport facility.

Programmes:

The courses offered by SBBSIET include six undergraduate engineering courses in various disciplines with an intake capacity of total 375 students. The institute is also offering postgraduate courses in engineering with the total intake capacity of 110 students.

Facilities:

The college provides sufficient facilities to all the students like equipped labs and workshops, computer centre with internet connection, a library having good collection of books of national and international publications, the college also provide mess and canteen facility, sports facility, transportation and hostel facility.

Placement:

The department of Training and Placement consists of highly experienced and dedicated staff providing assistance to the student in their training and placement process. The students of the college have been placed in many renowned companies like Wipro, Vodafone, IBM, Oracle, Cognizant etc.

Activities:

The SBBSIET students participate in all major activities organized throughout the year by the college or by some other colleges. The students actively participate in the activities like Sports Meet, Cultural Fest, Social Activities, Cultural Events etc.
