Shanti Niketan College of Engineering, Hisar

Shanti Niketan College of Engineering (SNCE) is a unit of the Shanti Niketan Vidhyapeeth established in 1977. The SNCE institution is a private and self-financing institution set up by the Shanti Niketan Shiksha Samiti in the year 2008. The SNCE is affiliated to the Guru Jambeshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. The institution is approved by the DTE, MHRD and AICTE. The SNCE is accredited by the ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Campus:
The SNCE campus is sited on the Tosham – Hisar Road in Village Ladwa in District Hisar, Haryana. The campus is 25 km away from the Bhiwani City and 12 km from the Hisar City. The SNCE is placed in the Shanti Niketan Vidhyapeeth campus spread over in 48 acres of land.
Programmes:
The SNCE is offering the 4-year full-time B.Tech degree programme in 5 disciplines of the engineering & technology.
Students:
The SNCE offers admission on total 300 seats (60 seats from each department) as the annual intake capacity in all programmes.
Facilities:
The SNCE campus is housed in the administrative block, academic block, central library, seminar hall, workshop block, conference hall, lecture halls, tutorial rooms, drawing hall, auditorium, canteen, common rooms and separate hostels for boys & girls. The SNCE provides the internet facility, sports facility, transport facility, uniform and medical facility.
Activities:
Apart from the academic education, the SNCE organizes various sports & cultural activities for the students to develop their personality. The campus organizes the study tour throughout the 3 year’s duration.
Placement:
The training & placement cell organizes the career grooming programme such as personality development programme, monitoring, encouragement, extra classes for weaker students, special coaching for meritorious students, pre-placement talk and mock interviews.
