Shri Guru Ram Rai P.G. College (SGRR), Dehradun was established in 1960. It imparts quality education to a wide spectrum of students. The college is a part of SGRR Education Mission which is running more than 130 public schools all over the North India, a 750 bedded Shri Mahant IndIresh Hospital, a Medical College and an Institute of Technology & Science. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated with HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand.
Campus
The college has a lush green campus spreading over an area about 62.5 acres. It has well-furnished labs with a rich library with e-access to more 6000 e-journals and 97,000 e-books; besides 43,396 books in print. The college is also a centre of National Testing Service (NTS). The college has highly qualified and dedicated faulty which ensures bright academic results. The college has Wi- Fi facility on campus. There is Agriculture farm for practical knowledge for the students.
Facilities
Shri Guru Ram Rai P.G. College (SGRR) provides accommodation to the students at the rate of two/three students in one room with mess facility. There is a transport facility provided for the day scholars and teaching staff. It has other facilities like library, medical, laboratories, workshops, sports, canteen, etc. It also conducts the educational tours and personality development class.
Programmes
The college which is started with a few subjects at Undergraduate level in 1960 is today imparting education in 26 subjects under the faculty of Arts, Science, Education, Agriculture and Commerce, besides offering PG Diploma in Mass Communication. The faculty is running B.Sc (Agriculture) and B.Sc (Horticulture) both four years degree course as well as M.Sc (Agronomy) with full strength. The college offered courses in the Agriculture are:

Placement
The training & placement cell has been established for the purpose of individual growth of each student. It has been making a systematic effort to arrange guest lecture, seminar, industrial visit, suitable summer training and dissertation works for the students.
