Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, Tirupati

Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College (SVEC) has been started in the year 1996 set up by the Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust which is founded by the Dr. M Mohan Babu (Cine star & Padma Shri awarded). The SVEC is a private and self-financing institution. It is accorded as the autonomous institution by the UGC and accredited by the NBA and NAAC. The SVEC is approved by the AICTE and affiliated by the JNTU, Anantapur.

Campus:

The SVEC campus is situated in Shri Sainath Nagar in Tirupati, AP. The college is sited on a sprawling campus of around 30 acres of land in the outskirt of the city. The campus is 16 km away from the temple city Tirupati.

Programmes:

Students & Faculty:

At present, the SVEC is offering the admission over 1968 seats as the annual intake capacity of all programmes. The SVEC has about 336 faculty members from all departments.

Facilities:

The campus has an auditorium with a capacity of 450 seats, a seminar hall, a central computer centre with 110 Mbps bandwidth and 1226 terminals, fully automated central library with a huge collection of books over 91000. Beside these, the campus provides the hostel facility, health & safety facility and student centre.

Activities:

The SVEC campus has more than 13 student chapters which are conducting the various technical programmes, workshops and seminars. The campus organizes the skill development programme, faculty development programme, expert lecture, annual day celebration and annual sports celebration.

Placement:
