College of engineering science & technology in was established in 2005 by Surya Group of Institutions (SGI) which is promoted by Surya Bux Pal Charitable trust. The institute is UPTU affiliated and AICTE approved. The vision of the institute is to become a center of International level of highest in the field of technology and management. And the CEST mission is to enable students to get quality education in technical and managerial sector and encourage them to build value in their career through knowledge imparted by professional staff by innovating, inspiring, and developing problem solving attitude in students.

The CEST campus is located at Raibarelly Road IN Lucknow city. The institute campus has all the required infrastructure to run various technical courses.
