Technology Education and Research Institute, Kurukshetra

Technology Education & Research Institute (TERI) was established in the year 2009 by the Gyankund Trust as a private and self-financed institution. The TERI is a flagship institution of the Technology Education and Research Integrated Institutions (TERII). The TERI is affiliated to the Kurukshetra University and approved by the AICTE, DTE (Haryana) and MHRD. The TERI campus is accredited by the ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Campus:

Beside TERI, there are three more educational academies in the campus of TERII named Polytechnic Education & Training Institute (PETI) affiliated to SBTE Haryana, TERI Public School affiliated to CBSE New Delhi and TREI Charity School. The campus is sited on the Kaithal Road in Post Barna at Tehsil Thanesar in District Kurukshetra, Haryana. The campus is 11 km from the town Thanesar.

Programmes:

The TERI conducts the B.Tech programme in five engineering streams, an MBA programme in dual specialization in three management streams and a BBA programme. The polytechnic diploma is conducted by the PETI in two engineering streams.

Students & Faculty:

The TERI offers admission in all programmes with 480 seats as the annual intake, while PETI offers the 360 seats for the diploma courses. The entire TERII campus has around 118 teaching members from all departments and schools.

Facilities:

The campus provides the spacious classrooms, conference rooms, workshop and the laboratories. The campus has a computer lab with 24×7 wi-fi internet connectivity. The campus also provides the medical facility and sports facility either indoor or outdoor.

Activities:

The campus celebrates the every Wednesday as a social and cultural activity day named “The Wednesday” joining students and the staff together on one platform. The all activities are managed by the students through various clubs. The campus conducts the extracurricular activities like blood donation camp, awareness camp and free health check-up camp under the corporate social responsibility policy, done by the students under the guidance of faculty.

Placement:

The Training & placement cell of the TERI is developing the skills of the students through group discussion, counselling, PDP, workshop and seminars. The T&P cell organizes the campus recruitment for the job placement for the students.
