AIPVT 2024 Counselling

Counselling of AIPVT 2024 will be organised via online mode for allotment of 15% of Indian Quota seats. The counselling and admission procedure for admission to B.V.Sc and A.H. Courses will be organised by the Veterinary Council of India. The first round of counselling will be started in third week of September 2024.

The counselling will be commenced in four stages i.e., Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray Round. It will consist of registration and fee payment, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, document verification and reporting at allotted college. Qualified candidates will be required to register on the website to participate in counselling rounds. Candidates participating in the counselling round will have to pay a non refundable counselling fee.

AIPVT 2024 Counselling Procedure

Here, we have mentioned the step by step AIPVT 2024 Counselling Procedures:

Step-1: Registration

  • Visit the website and click on “Online Registration for All India Quota Govt”.
  • Then, click on the “New Registration” and Sign in page.
  • Fill in details such as name, roll number, date of birth and application number and submit the details.

Step-2: Choice Filling and Registration

  • After successful registration, move to the choice filling and locking process by click on “View Available Choices” tab.
  • Candidates will be able to fill as many preferences they want to select by clicking on the “+” button given on the left panel of the screen.
  • After choice filling, save and lock them.
  • Fill the choices carefully, as once the choices are locked it cannot be changed.
  • After locking, candidates must take print of the locked choices.

Step-3: Allotment of Seats

  • After the choice filling, candidates will have to login to the website to view the allotment result. 
  • The authority will publish a provisional allotment letter on the website.
  • Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of merit rank, choices filled and seats availability.

Step-4: Reporting at Allotted College

Once the seat have allotted, candidates will have to report at the allotted college within the scheduled dates and time for the document verification round.

Documents Required for AIPVT 2024 Counselling

At the time of counselling, candidates will need to produce following documents in original with self attested copy for verification:

  • Admit Card of NEET UG- 2024
  • Rank Card of NEET UG- 2024
  • Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card/ Ration Card/ Passport/ PAN etc as provided in application form
  • Proof for date of birth certificate
  • 10+2 or Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet 
  • 10+2 or Qualifying Examination Certificate
  • Six coloured passport size  and one postcard size photograph 
  • Character certificate
  • OCI/PIO card issued by appropriate authority
  • Equivalency certificate from AIU
  • caste/category certificate

AIPVT 2024 Cut Off

The AIPVT 2024 Cut off will be released by the authority to select eligible candidates for admission to veterinary courses. The cut off of AIPVT 2024 will be released through online mode on the website. Cut off will be the minimum marks that candidates will need to obtain in the NEET exam.

AIPVT 2024 Seat Reservation

The AIPVT 2024 Seat Reservation criteria under 15% All India Quota will be as follows:

  • 15% seats reserved for SC category candidates
  • 7.5% seats reserved for ST category candidates
  • 10% seats reserved for EWS category candidates
  • 27% seats reserved for OBC-NCL category candidates
  • 5% seats reserved for PH category candidates 

AIPVT 2024 Allotment & Admission

The admission authority will release a seat allotment list of selected candidates which will include rank, allotted quota, course, allotted college, category, remarks etc. After each round of allotment, institute wise allotment result, individual allotment result and opening/ closing rank will be made available.

The candidates will be allotted seats based on merit rank of NEET UG 2024 exam, availability of seats in affiliated colleges, choices opted by them and subject to fulfilment of other criteria as laid down by the authority.

What After AIPVT 2024 Seat Allotment?

After the AIPVT 2024 Seat Allotment, candidates will be able to opt the following points:

Willingness Submission at Allotted Institute:

  • Candidates will be able to submit their willingness for “Upgradation” for subsequent rounds of counselling at the allotted college.
  • The willingness will be of two types: Float (Yes Upgradation) and Freeze (No Upgradation).

Withdrawal at Allotted Institute:

  • Those candidates who have no interest in joining allotted institutes will be able to resign/withdraw from counselling process any time during the reporting period. 
  • These candidates will be required to report at the respective allotted institutes and sign a declaration to the effect where the candidates will have an interface with the counselling authority. 
  • The counselling authority will perform the withdrawal operation only after satisfying themselves with proper verification of candidates.
