Odisha NEET counselling is conducted through online mode. The authority releases the state merit list for the candidates who are called for the counselling on the basis of their ranks. Candidates have to register online on the website.
The candidates those register on the website are only eligible to participate in all rounds of counselling. Candidates also have to submit the application fee. The counselling procedure comprise of the choice filling & locking, seat allotment and document verification.

Selection & Admission Procedure
- At the very first, candidates need to register on the website and fill the application form.
- After this, the choice filling and choice locking process will be started. Candidates will have to fill the choices for college in which they are looking for admission.
- Document will be also verify at this stage. Candidate will receive a provisional admission letter from OJEE cell along with acknowledgement of submitted documents.
- Candidates will be provisionally admitted on submitting the prescribed admission fee.
- The seats will be allotted on the basis of candidates rank and filled choices.
- After the final counselling, OJEE will send the admitted candidates list along with the admission fees to the concerned institution.
- Candidates must report to the allotted college for final admission within the prescribed time.
Reservation Criteria
There will be no OBC category, so, OBC candidates will be considered as general category candidates. The reservation policy of the State Government for admission is followed as:
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 12%
- Scheduled Cast (SC): 8%
- Physically Challenged (PC): 3% of each category
- Ex-Servicemen (ES): 3%
- Green Card Holders (GC): 5%

So Far, there is no official announcement on Commencement of NEET counselling for Odisha state.
If an UR category applicant has a green card and applies in green card quota,and during counselling if GC quota seats finishes, will the applicant be covered under UR category seats ? or shall be out from counseling.
