Admission Process
How to get admission in computer science & engineering courses?
Various colleges and universities offer admissions to students through entrance tests. The entrance exams are organized at national, state or university level by the respective authorities. While some other institutions give admissions on the basis of merit list of the qualifying examination.
For admissions in B.Tech courses, admissions will be done through JEE Main examination. JEE Main is a national level exam regulated by the CBSE Board for providing admissions in B.Tech programmes offered by top colleges of the country. I am at present in 12th and am 80-90% type of student.I am totally confused what to choose as career.i want to pursue architecture or aeronautics but on present times people suggesting computer sciences.my parents r ready to send me abroad but it takes high prices but i am ready to study in india.for this situation i have two more questions?

Computer Sc. is not doubt a good option, a branch that has scope in current time and will also have opportunities ahead. Now as far as studying abroad is concerned, you can pursue you PG programs from their,. So my advice is look for some good college in india, who have proven placement record and pursue you higher studies abroad after you complete your UG from India.

Don’t worry Kajal, we are here to help you. You can take admission in any Board ISC or CBSE, it don’t matter much. What matter is how you prepare for the forthcoming Engineering exams that you have to attend to get admission in good college. Now, you can appear in both JEE Main and WBJEEE. JEE Main is for admission to top engg colleges in the country including NIT, IIT (JEE Advanced), whereas WBJEE is for admission to the state govt and private engg colleges. hope that helps.

From where do you belong, what is your JEE Main score? look you can still get admission in any good private college, or you can pursue BCA+ MCA which is equivalent to b.tech. And along with b.tech you can learn hacking courses etc.
Hello sir!, I am ashamed of my self I passed class 12 in 2014 tried jee mains couldn’t clear. I dropped. Another year still couldn’t clear.It was all my fault I always think that I have the potential..but something in me doesn’t. Allow it to unlock it.I always end up thinking that I really become distracted very easily..I like computer science a lot.I like to learn to hack small things via Internet modding games etc.I have a very keen interest in this things..Now I want to know that are this small interest will help me to have a bright career in computer science.do u think that I have some talent in this sector bcoz see sir I think myself that I want something to opt which shouldn’t be a headache for me.I just want to opt 4 a branch where I can apply my own brains..nt like physics, chemistry so much things to remember..sur pls suggest me some guidance..I am really depressed and ashamed of myself.I got 85 percent in 12 in pcm and computer science

With diploma you can get the admission to degree in 2nd year means it is considered as the qualifying for the UG and if that is not happened then you may get the job on that basis. mean by all sides it is good.

You can pursue diploma in computer science after 1oth, and then you can do lateral entry course after that. or can can go for computer and animation courses after 12th.

Yes, you can become computer Sc. engineer, and for that you have start your preparation early, and start preparing from now onwards so that you can get a good college after passing your class 12th and you can pursue your B.tech in CSE from a good college. You can start preparing for the exams like Jee Main so that you can get good college for your engineering program.

JEE Main is the broad gateway to the engineering but there are some states which are conducting their own examination for the B.Tech courses. if you belong to any of such state then you may appear those exams.

Computer Sc. is best options for girls (In my opinion) since there are ample job opportunities in this field, also it is the computer oriented job, so no need of field work. After completing the course you can also appear for Banking sector or management sector.

Don’t worry you will get CSE branch, there is no such criteria, if you have PCM, you can choose any branch in B.tech expect biotechnology.

For any engineering exam or the medical exam you should have the mathematics or the biology. In my concern you should choose any one of it. otherwise after that you can go in other fields like humanities.

Every career has a good scope, and you can earn in Lakhs to0, but it generally depends on your hardwork, skill, and knowledge. Computer Sc. is a great field. I suggest you to choose go for some good institution like IIT or NIT or any other reputed private engineering college. It depend upon your interest to choose hardware or software, software engineering has a great scope and ample job opportunities ahead, and this in the only field which can bag you one crore salary after the completion of your course, but you must have the skills and talent to get that.

After clearing 12th with bio, you can’t join computer engineering. However, if you are really interested in computer technology and software engineering, you may join BCA and then do MCA.

The admission to the government engineering college will be based on your rank in JEE Main, so prepare well for the JEE Main exam and also look to score good percentage in 10+2.

You can take computer science as a subject in 12th also. Although CS course means B.Tech CS or B.Sc IT. And for that you must have passed 12th and entrance exam with subjects as math chemistry and physics.
12th is not copulsary for doing Diploma.After 10th you will Do it.
