Admission Procedure
Entrance Exams
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is one of the most popular national level entrance exams in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission in MBBS and BDS programs of top ranked private and government colleges of India.

The state has various government and non-government colleges for pursuing medical courses. The top medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh those offer UG and PG courses in medical are All India Institute of Medical Science, Bhopal, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Government College of Dentistry, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur and many others.
MP MBBS/ BDS Admission 2023
For admission in medical colleges through national level entrance exam, candidates should meet the eligibilities given below. Only eligible candidates are considered for the admission.
- Candidate should be India citizen.
- OCI candidates are also eligible to apply.
- The minimum age to apply in NEET is 17 years as on 31st December at the year of admission.
- The maximum age is 25 years and 30 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates should pass the 10+2 or its equivalent examination with PCB and English subject from any recognized board.
- Candidates those studying in 10+2 can also apply.
- The candidate should obtain 50% minimum marks (40% for reserve category candidates and 45% for PH candidates) in the qualifying exam.
Selection Procedure
The candidates those qualify the NEET-UG exam would be able to participate in the counselling. The counselling process is carried out by the MCC and DGHS for admission into 15% AIQ seats.
For 85% state quota seats, state counselling authority carryout its own counselling procedure on its levels. Allocation of seats can be done on the basis of categories, NEET merit list, availability of seats in the college and the choices filled by the candidates.
Candidates can download the seat allotment letter and report to the allotted college along with all necessary documents after the allotment of seat.
Documents Required
Candidates must have these documents in original at the time of counselling. Only on verification of all documents, the seats are allotted to the candidates.
