The Mudra Institute of Communication in Ahmedabad (MICA) is the conducting authority of MICAT entrance exam. This exam is conducted in two phases every year ie., MICAT I & MICAT II.
This exam is conducted to offer admission in Post Graduate Diploma in Management Courses/ PGDM Communication (PGDM/ PGDM-C). Candidates will have to qualify the CAT, XAT, GMAT exams to appear for MICAT examination. The final selection will be done based on combined performance of candidates in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT exam, MICAT exam and GE/ PI rounds.

MICAT 2024 Cut Off
Candidates will get the MICAT 2024 Cut off a few days after the announcement of result. The cut off is a qualifying criteria which consist of minimum required marks for the selection of eligible candidates.

MICAT 2024 Qualifying Marks
The qualifying marks will comprise the minimum passing marks which a candidate will have to secure to qualify the exam. A score of 45 to 50 in the aptitude section will be considered as the good scores to qualify the exam.
A minimum of 3.5 out of 5 and 4 out of 5 marks in GE and PI will be regarded as good scores for admission.

MICAT 2024 Result
The MICAT Result 2024 will be declared on 21st December 2023 for MICAT-I and 17th February 2024 for MICAT-II. The result will be made available through online mode. Candidates will get their result on the website of authority by entering their application number and password.
The result of MICAT will comprise of allrequired details such as candidate’s name, roll number, scores in each subject, total marks, percentage etc. The result will be prepared on the basis of candidates scores obtained in the entrance exam. Based on the result, candidates will be called for participating in further admission procedures i.e GE & PI rounds.
MICAT 2024 Admission
MICAT 2024 Admission will be commenced through offline mode. The shortlisted candidates will be called for participation in admission rounds. Candidates will be required to clear the Psychometric test to be eligible for GE and PI rounds.
A minimum cut-off in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores will be considered to select candidates for GE and PI rounds. In the GE round, an activity will be assigned to a group of 5-6 candidates to check their capability to work with the team and team spirit is checked.
In the Personal Interview round, candidate’s knowledge, personality and passion for pursuing the management programme will be tested. The final selection will be done on the basis of combined performance in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT exam, MICAT exam and GE/ PI round.
