CGC Jhanjeri 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must go through the given eligibility criteria of CGC Jhanjeri 2025:

For B.Tech Course:

• Qualification: Candidates should have qualified class 12th exam or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Subject: Students must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject.
• Appearing: Applicants appearing in final year in 2025 will be also eligible for exam.

For LLB Course:

• Qualification: Students must have done graduation or post graduation in any department from Punjabi University, Patiala or any equivalent test from any recognized university. 
• Marks: To be eligible, applicants will need to score 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in final year of graduation in 2025 will also be able to apply.

For MBA Course:

• Qualification: Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized board.
• Marks: Applicants will be required to score atleast 50% marks to be eligible for admission.
• Appearing: Students appearing in final year of graduation in 2025 will be able to apply for admission.

For MCA Course:

• Qualification: Students should have BCA/ B.Com/ BA/ B.Sc. in graduation level or Mathematics in class 10+2 to be eligible. 
• Marks: Applicants must score at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).

CGC Jhanjeri 2025 Admission Procedure

The CGC Jhanjeri Admission Procedure 2025 will be organized by university for different courses. There will be two different methods to take admission i.e. through state quota and direct admission. Applicants who applied through state quota, their counselling will be done through PTU university. 

Through PTU counselling process, 5% seats in B.Tech and non-AICTE UG courses will be provided. The direct admission will be done by the university on the basis of overall profile, entrance exam scores, academic background and other versatility and achievements of candidates.

CGC Jhanjeri 2025 Admission Scholarship

The university will conduct the test i.e. CGC Jhanjeri Open Scholarship for Higher Education (JOSH) to provide scholarships. The test will be conducted by the authority for shortlisting students for scholarship of Rs. 10 crore.

Candidates will need to register through online mode from the website to participate in scholarship test. Applicants will get scholarship on the basis of their scholarship test score. Below we have mentioned the percentage wise criteria for students to be eligible for the scholarship:

CGC Jhanjeri 2025 Merit List

CGC Jhanjeri Merit list 2025 will be released through online mode. Applicants will be able to check the merit list from the university website. The authority will prepare it on the basis of national level entrance examination scores and academic exam scores.

The merit list will be published by authority after the completion of application procedure. It will contain the names of students who qualified the exam and those candidates will be considered eligible for counseling process. 

CGC Jhanjeri 2025 Counselling

The CGC Jhanjeri counselling 2025 will be organized in the third week of August 2025. Candidates will need to register themselve first to participate in counselling procedure. Once the registration is done on CGC website, they will be eligible to appear in counselling. 

Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of rank obtained in merit list. Applicants will need to visit the college campus for CGC Jhanjeri counselling round. The counselling will be organized in various rounds which depends on the number of vacant seats after each round of counselling.
