What is NEET?

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) formerly known as All Indian Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) is a national level medical entrance exam conducted for candidates seeking admission in medical courses in India.  The exam was introduced in 2013 and was then conducted by the CBSE. For Degree Courses:

  • Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent examination from any recognized board with prescribed percentages.
  • Age Limit: Candidate’s age must be more than 17 Years to be eligible.
  • Subject: Applying candidates must have PCB as mandatory subjects in the qualifying examination.
  • Selection Procedure: For admission in Government colleges candidates will have to qualify the prescribed examination.
