Manipal MET 2024 Exam Pattern

MU OET 2024 Exam Pattern is different for number of courses offered by the University. Candidates must go through the complete exam pattern before starting the exam preparation. Below we have provided the exam pattern for some of courses as per the previous year’s trend:

For B.B.A Programme:

• Exam Mode: The entrance test is organised in online remote proctored mode.
• Type of Questions: The exam paper consist of multiple choice questions from five subjects.
• Subjects: The questions are asked from the subjects of Conceptual, numeracy, General awareness, General English and Case study.
• Time Duration: The total time duration to complete the test is of 2 hours.
• Number of questions: The questions paper will consist of total 100 questions.
  • Numeracy, General awareness and General English will contain 20 questions each.
  • Whereas, in Conceptual there will be 25 questions and 15 questions of Case study.

For B.Tech Programme:

• Exam Mode: The test is organised in online proctored mode.
• Type of Questions: The paper will consist of multiple choice questions.
• Subjects: The questions will be asked from the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and General Aptitude.
• Time Duration: The total time duration to complete the test will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• Number of questions: The questions paper will consist of total 200 questions.
  • Physics and Chemistry section will contain 50 questions each.
  • Whereas, Mathematics section will contain 70 questions and 30 questions from General Aptitude.

For M.Tech Programme:

• Exam Mode: The exam will be held in online CBT mode.
• Type of Questions: The paper will consist of multiple choice questions.
• Subjects: The questions will be asked from the respective discipline as selected by the candidate and from engineering mathematics.
• Time Duration: The total time duration to complete the test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• Number of questions: The questions paper will consist of total 60 questions.
  • There will be 50 questions from the discipline selected by the candidate and 10 questions from engineering mathematics.

Manipal MET 2024 Marking Scheme

MU OET 2024 marking scheme for admission into various programmes is discussed below:

• There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers except in ME/M.Tech exam.
• 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
• In ME/M.Tech exam, +4 marks will be awarded for every correct response.
• Other than M.Tech/ME, there will be no negative marking in other entrance test of various programmes.
• The score of student will depend upon the number of correct responses made without any deduction for wrong responses.
