The university conducts Digital University Aptitude Test (DUAT) exam for admission to M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA and PG Diploma Courses. The government of Kerala has upgraded IIITM Kerala as a Digital University for admission to various management and technology courses.

The IIITM Kerala 2024 Result will be made available to candidates through online mode. The university will declare the result a few days after the completion of examination in second week of June 2024. Candidates will be able to check their result through online website by entering their login credentials.

Candidates will have to follow these steps to download IIITM Kerala 2024 Result:

• Search for link of “DUAT 2024 Result” on homepage.
• Click on that link.
• Login by entering user id and password.
• The result will be opened on screen in PDF Format.
• Check the result and take printout of it for further usage.

Tie Breaking Criteria 2024

The IIITM Kerala will apply tie-breaking criteria to calculate rank of candidates, when two or more candidates score equal marks. The tie breaking of IIITM Kerala will be applied as follows:

• The candidates with higher rank will be ranked higher.
• The candidates with less proportion of incorrect answers will be ranked higher.
• The candidates with a greater proportion of correct responses will be ranked higher.
• If tie still remains, then older age candidates will be given priority.

IIITM Kerala 2024 Counselling

After declaration of result, university will organise a counselling procedure. The university will send an email or SMS to candidates about IIITM Kerala counselling details. The candidates will have to appear for various rounds of counselling for admission into university. 

Only the shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in counselling procedures. The shortlisted candidates will be required to bring their original documents at the time of counselling for purpose of verification. 

These documents will be an admit card of qualifying exam, 10th class mark sheet and passing certificate, 12th class mark sheet and passing certificate, birth certificate, scorecard of qualifying exam and many more. 

IIITM Kerala 2024 Selection Procedure

After the completion of counselling procedure, selection procedure for admission will begin. The selection procedure will be organised by university to offer admission to shortlisted candidates. 

For final selection , candidates will have to appear for written test. The admission to M.Sc programme will be given through ITCAT/ GATE scores and for admission to M.Phill will be given through ITRAT/ GATE or NET Scores. Candidates must qualify written test with minimum qualifying cut-off as prescribed by the institute. 

Only the qualified candidates will be considered eligible for admission. The seats will be allotted to candidates based on qualifying criteria of candidates. After admission, candidates will have to report at institute with required documents and admission fee.

IIITM Kerala 2024 Test Centers

IIITM Kerala 2024 Entrance Exam will be held in the state of Kerala and various other cities. The various test centres of IIITM Kerala 2024 exam will be in Cochin, Thodupuzha, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Calicut, Kasargod, Kottayam, Trivandrum and Perinthalmanna.
