JEXPO 2024 Result will be declared in fourth week of June 2024. JEXPO is a state level polytechnic entrance examination conducted each year by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE). This examination is conducted for admission into various Polytechnic Diploma courses in the fields of Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture. Through this exam candidates will get admission among various Government and Private colleges across the West Bengal State. After conduct of entrance examination, authority will release a merit list, which comprises the names of shortlisted candidates for admission.

JEXPO 2024 Result

Result of JEXPO 2024 will be prepared by the authority on basis of performance of candidates in entrance exam. Authority will release results through online mode. The result of JEXPO 2024 will be announced in fourth week of June 2024. 

Authority will also release a merit list of the candidates shortlisted for admission. Candidates will be able to view or download their result and merit list from the website. Candidates will have to enter their “Enrollment Number” or “Name” to view the result.

How to Download JEXPO 2024 Result

Follow these simple steps to download JEXPO 2024 Result: 

• Visit the website link (link will be given above).
• From the admission tab, click on “Result of Entrance Exam”.
• Then, click on “JEXPO” tab.
• Candidates will see a login window on screen indicating ‘check merit rank’.
• Enter the Index number and captcha code given on the screen.
• Press on “Check Result” option.
• JEXPO 2024 will be displayed on screen.
• Now, click on “Download/ Print Provisional Rank Card” button.
• Candidates are advised to keep a hardcopy of the result till the admission procedure gets over.

JEXPO 2024 Rank Card

Authority will release the rank card via online mode. Rank card will be released by authority a few days after the commencement of exam. No rank card will be issued to merit listed candidates individually. 

Rank card will consist a category wise ranks of shortlisted candidates. Candidates will be ranked in merit list on the basis of their performance in JEXPO examination.

JEXPO 2024 Merit List

Once the result is declared, authority will prepare a JEXPO 2024 Merit List. Candidates will be able to check their merit list through online mode on the website. Merit list will consist the names of candidates those are eligible for admission. 

Authority will prepare merit list for admission of candidates to Diploma courses in various fields. Candidates securing a position in merit list will be called for counselling and seat allotment process. Selection of candidates will be done during counselling process.

JEXPO 2024 Result Tie-Breaking Criteria

In the event of two or more candidates scoring equal aggregate marks in JEXPO 2024 entrance examination, then authority will apply a tie breaking method to calculate the rank of candidates shortlisted in merit list. Authority will use following criteria to determine the rank:

• Higher rank will be awarded to candidates securing higher marks in total
• Candidates with less proportion of incorrect answers will be given preference.
• Higher rank will be awarded to candidates older in age.

JEXPO 2024 Cut Off

Cut-off of JEXPO 2024 will be published online after the declaration of result. JEXPO cut-off will consist of minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the authority. To get shortlisted in merit list, candidates will need to secure said cut-off marks. 

Authority will prepare cut-off marks based on various factors which are as follows:

• Number of candidates appeared for exam.
• Number of exam qualified candidates
• Difficulty level of exam
• Previous year cut-off trend 
• Availability of seats 

JEXPO 2024 Counselling/ Admission Procedure

JEXPO 2024 Counselling will be held in first week of August 2024. To appear for counselling sessions, candidates will need to register themselves on the website. Counselling will be done based on the general rank in the merit list. 

The facility of choice filling and locking of course and colleges will be provided to candidates by the authority. Candidates will be able to select colleges and courses as per their preferences. Candidates must be physically present at the counselling venue with relevant documents.
