IIMT Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut
IIMT Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1994 as a private and self-financed institution of the IIMT Group of Institutions. The college is affiliated to the UP Technical University and approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The college is recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education and State Govt. of UP.
Campus:
In a vast campus of the IIMT Group of Institutions, there are nine colleges in same premises situated in the Ganga Nagar Colony on Mawana Road in Meerut, the district of UP. It is the largest Educational Group in North India and one of the best engineering and best management institution in UP.
Programmes:
Beside the 31 programmes offered by the IIMT Group in several of its colleges located in the campus, IIMTIET offers 5 UG programmes in the field of engineering and technology and 2 PG programmes in the field of management and computer application.
Students & Faculty:
The total intake capacity of the college in all the programmes is 540 students. The college provides state of the art faculty of 53 members. More than 25% of faculty members are PhD holders. The IIMT Group has more than 20,000 students and 1330 highly experienced and qualified faculty members.
Facilities:
The campus is located in a pollution-free area and providing the ample facilities to the students. The campus has a rich library, equipped laboratories, spacious classrooms, seminar hall and auditorium. The campus provides the health care, gym, transportation and separated hostel for boys and girls.
The IIMT Group has a good track record of placement. The TP cell of the campus plays as a bridge between students and their jobs.
