Venkateshwara Institute of Technology, Meerut
Venkateshwara Institute of Technology, (VIT) was established in the year 2007 as a private and self-financed institute of the Venkateshwara Group of Institutions. The college is affiliated to the UP Technical University and approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The college is also affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow and State Government of UP for diploma courses.
Campus:
The college is located in a vast campus with 7 more institutions of the Venkateshwara Institutional Group. The campus is situated on the National Highway-58 (Delhi – Roorkee Road) at Jatoli in Meerut, the district of UP. The campus is located in the outskirt of the Delhi-NCR region and well-connected by the roads and rail.
Programmes:
The VIT is offering 4 year full-time B.Tech degree in 5 disciplines and 3 year (2nd shift) Diploma programmes in 2 disciplines of engineering and technology. The college also offers 2 year full-time MBA programme in 5 disciplines of management studies.
Students & Faculty:
The college offers all programmes with the intake capacity of 540 students in all streams. The college has a best faculty team with experience and excellent command over their fields.
Facilities:
Being a part of the huge campus, the college has all necessary facilities required as per the norms. The main features are; Wi-Fi enabled campus with spacious classrooms and seminar halls and fully sound, equipped and updated labs, library and a computer centre.
The campus has a central placement cell with an objective to provide the opportunities to the students to get jobs on higher post in MNC’s by equipping them by various trainings and guiding them by career counselling.
The campus conducts various co-curricular and extracurricular activities to groom the students as well the faculty.
