Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET 2023) is a national-level entrance exam. It is conducted for the candidates seeking admission in 6 years PG medical courses (MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM). The examination is organised by the AIIMS, New Delhi.

INI CET 2023 Counseling

The counselling procedure is conducted by the authority for both sessions separately. Only shortlisted candidates are allowed to participate in the counselling procedure. Qualified candidates can register themselves for the counselling procedure through online mode only.

INI CET Counseling process 2023 is followed by various rounds. On the basis of their rank in the merit list, the seats are allotted to the candidates.

INI CET 2023 Result

INI CET Results 2023 has been released by the authority for every exam participating candidate individually. Authority releases the result after a few days from the completion of the examination. The result consists of candidates’ performance in the entrance examination. Candidates must keep it safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

The examination result for INI CET 2023 has been declared on  2023 for July session. The candidates can check their results and also take the printout for future reference.

INI CET Cut Off 2023

INI CET Cut off is set for various categories according to various parameters. The category wise cut off lists is made available on the website. Cut off is decided based on various factors like number of appearing candidates, qualified candidates, performance in qualifying exam, marks/ rank secured, etc.

The expected cut-off marks are different for various categories as mentioned below:

  • For General category- 50%
  • For OBC (NCL) category- 45%
  • For SC/ ST category- 40%
  • For PWBD category- cutoff of the respective category

INI CET 2023 Admit Card

The admit card for INI CET 2023 can be downloaded from the website few weeks before the examination. The admit card has been made available through any other mode except online mode. It has been made available on 1st May 2023 for July Session exam.

Entering the examination hall without a valid INI CET admit card, ID proof will not be allowed. The INI CET admit card is a mandatory document on the day of the examination.

INI CET 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates must go through complete details regarding INI CET Exam Pattern 2023:

  • Exam Mode: INI CET will be held in online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • Type of Questions: There will be Multiple -Choice Questions (MCQs) in the paper.
  • Total questions: 90 questions will be there in MDS paper & 200 questions in MD/ MS paper.
  • Medium: Paper language will be in English only.
  • Duration: 180 minutes for MD/ MS to solve the paper.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. 1/3 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.

INI CET Syllabus 2023

INI CET Syllabus 2023 is based on the higher secondary level. The syllabus of AIIMS covers various subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, GK & Aptitude test.

The detailed syllabus is listed below:

For Physics:

Electricity, Circular Motion, Nuclear Physics, Electronic Devices, Electro-Magnetic Induction, Kinetic Theory of Gases, the first law of Thermodynamics, Measurement, Motion, Physics of the Atom: Thermodynamics: Work and heat, Solids, Wave Motion, Optics, etc.

For Zoology:

Developmental Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology, Diversity of Animal Life, Genetics and Evolution (Fundamentals only), (symbiosis), Histology, and Reproductive System, etc.

For Chemistry:

  • Section A: General and Inorganic Chemistry, Periodic Properties of Elements, Molecule and Chemical Bond, Structure of Atom.
  • Section B: Chemistry of Elements and Compounds, Organic Chemistry.
  • Section C: Chemical Equilibrium, Physical Chemistry, Energetic, State of Matter, etc.

For Botany:

INI CET 2023 Application Form

Candidates must go through complete details regarding the INI CET 2023 Application form:

  • The Application Form has been released through online mode only. No other mode is entertained.
  • Registrations are done twice – January & July. For January session, the registrations of INI CET 2023 have been started from 5th September 2022. For July session, the registrations has been started from 7th March 2023.
  • Only eligible candidates are allowed to apply for the examination, so candidates must confirm their eligibility first.
  • Candidates must fill out the application form very carefully though the authority also provides the correction facility for the application form.
  • Within duration of correction facility, candidates can edit their basic and final registration form though the facility is applicable on the selected fields only.
  • Candidates must submit the application form before the last date of submission.
  • Candidates don’t have to send any hard copy of the filled application form to the authority. Print the application form after its submission.

Application Fee:

INI CET Application fee can be submitted by online mode only. Candidates must use a Credit card, Debit card, Net Banking, UPI, and Paytm payment gateways for the transaction of fee.

How to Apply for INI CET 2023:

  • Visit the website. (Link is given above)
  • Now click on the ‘New Candidates’ basic registration link and fill out the basic registration form.
  • After the completion of basic registration, login into the application form.
  • Fill out the Application form with details like Name, Parent Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Marital status, ID Proof, Contact details, etc.
  • Now upload all required documents including photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
  • At last, make fee payment by using prescribed payment gateways and take the printout of filled registration and fee receipt for future reference.

INI CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following points regarding INI CET Eligibility criteria:

  • Nationality: Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/ NRI, and foreign nationals can apply for the exam. Foreign candidates nominated by the Government are not required to appear in the entrance examination.
  • Qualification: Candidates must have MBBS degree from University recognized by NMC/ MCI & must have completed required period of 12 months rotating internship/practical training on or before 31st July 2023.
  • Qualifying marks: Candidates in the qualifying degree must have scored a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (50% in case of reserved categories or foreign nationals).
  • Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying degree are also eligible to apply.

  2. My son complete mbbe 3year part 2 with 68 % , and at present doing internship which will be complete in March 2023. Dose he is eligible for INICET january 2023, exam. If so please provide any such notifications
