Candidates can get complete CLAT 2027 application form details below: 

• CLAT 2027 application form will begin from the first week of August 2026. 
• Candidates can submit the form through online mode, no offline method is available. 
• Once before filling the form, one must go through the eligibility norms below. 
• There will be various steps in registration procedure such as registration, filling of application details, uploading of required documents, uploading NLU preference, fee submission, etc. 
• In case of any mistake made in the application form, candidates will be able to make correction in it during the edit window from November 2026. 
• After form filling, upload the scanned documents such as photograph, signature & other required documents in PDF format. 
• The deadline to submit the CLAT 2027 form will be till November 2026. 
• Submit the form & do not forget to take a hardcopy of the application form for further usage in the admission procedure. 

Application Fee: 

• CLAT 2027 application fee can be submitted via online mode. 
• Online facility such as credit card, debit card, pay wallet or RU pay only can be used to submit the fee. 
• Once paid, application fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

How to Apply for CLAT 2027

Complete steps to apply for CLAT 2027 is mentioned below: 

• Step-1: Visit the CLAT online website (Link will be mentioned above).
• Step-2: On the homepage, press the “CLAT 2027” link. 
• Step-3: Press the “Don’t have an account? Register button” & a login form will appear on the screen. 
• Step-4: A registration window will pop up on the screen & register yourself by entering the basic information. 
• Step-5: Fill in the preference among all the 22 national law universities in the form. 
• Step-6: Upload the scanned documents in prescribed format & size. 
• Step-7: Recheck the details once & submit the application fee using the available payment option. 
• Step-8: Press the “Submit” button & a confirmation page will appear on the screen. 
• Step-9: Do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage in admission. 

CLAT 2027 Application Correction 

Application correction facility of CLAT 2027 will be available via online mode. The edit window will be opened from November 2026. Registered candidates will have to use their login credentials to access the application form. 

Candidates are suggested to complete their correction within the given period of time, as after then no correction will be accepted. In case of any discrepancy in application form, candidates can correct them during the edit window. 

CLAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria

In the section below, one can get complete CLAT 2027 eligibility norms: 

General Eligibility: 

• Nationality: Applying candidates must be Indian Nationals/ NRI/ NRI Sponsored. 
• Age Limit: There will be no upper age limit to apply for both UG & PG courses. 

For UG Courses: 

• Qualifications: To be eligible, candidates must pass class 12th level from a recognized board/ university to apply. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 45% marks for general category & 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates to apply. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in class 12th level will also be eligible to apply for admission. 

For PG Courses: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must pass LLB, or 5-year integrated or its equivalent from a recognized institute/ university to be eligible. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 50% marks & 45% marks in case of reserved category (SC/ST) to be eligible.
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in final year in April/ May 2027 will also be eligible to apply for admission. 

CLAT 2027 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: CLAT 2027 exam will be conducted through offline (Pen-paper based) mode. 
• Duration: Total 2 hours will be allocated to solve the question paper. 
• Section: In the UG exam, a total of 5 sections will be asked. 
• Types of Questions: In paper, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) & Subjective type questions will be asked. 
• Medium: Only the English language will be available in the exam. 
• Number of Questions: For both UG & PG exam, a total 120 questions will be asked. 
• Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. 
• Negative Marking: 0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

CLAT Admit Card 2027

Successfully applied candidates will get the CLAT 2027 admit card through online mode. The admit card will be available for download from the third week of November 2026. Registered mobile number and password will be needed to download the hall ticket.

Admit card will have details like candidates name, photograph, roll number, application number, venue of exam, exam date & timing & other exam related instructions. Candidates must bring their admit card along with one photo ID proof at the exam centre.

CLAT Answer Key 2027

CLAT 2027 answer key will be available in two stages. First provisional answer key will be released and after that final answer key will be out. The answer key will be released in second week of December 2026.

Answer key can be checked in PDF format. The authority will provide a two or three days window to raise objection against answer key. During second week of December 2026, students can file their objections. For each objection Rs.500/- will be charged by the candidates.

CLAT 2027 Result

The result will be declared in the December 2026 third week. CLAT Result 2027 will be accessible through online mode only, no offline mode will be available. CLAT Score Card 2027 can be downloaded by visiting the CLAT 2027 exam portal and entering login details.

The result will be based on the final answer key released by consortium. Score card will contain candidate’s marks, rank, category & other exam related details. Candidates must keep their score card safe, as it will be needed at the time of admission. The authority may also release CLAT merit list after the result announcement.

CLAT Cut-off 2027

The cut-off marks will be announced after the declaration of Result. CLAT 2027 cut-off will be published through online mode. All participating NLUs will release their separate cut-off for providing admissions.

Cut-off will be generated after seeking various factors like toughness of exam, no. of students appeared, marks score, seats availability, reservation etc. It will be released category wise for appeared candidates. The expect cut-off for NLUs is mentioned below:

 CLAT Counselling 2027

Consortium will start the counselling process from third week of December 2026. CLAT 2027 counselling will be conducted in various rounds via online mode. First candidates are required to register for counselling process and update NLU preferences and make payment of counselling registration fee.

Once a seat is allotted to candidate, proceed toward the Freeze, Float and Exit options as per your choices. After seat allocation, candidates have to report for the document verification. Also, pay the remaining balance fee to confirm the admission.
