Uttarakhand ITI 2026 Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case candidates have obtained same scores, the following criteria will be followed:
- In case of candidates having equal percentage, preference will be given to the older candidate based on the date of birth.
- If the date of birth is also the same, preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks in Mathematics and Science, respectively.
- If these are also the same, then the preference will be based on the first letter of the candidate’s name in alphabetical order.

Uttarakhand ITI 2026 Counselling
Uttarakhand ITI Counselling Procedure 2026 will be conducted via both online and offline mode. The allocation of institutes and trades to all candidates will be done as per the merit rank. The availability of category-wise seats in the institutes will be followed as per the order of preference filled by the candidates.
In the case of offline counselling, all students included in the merit list will have to provide their choices for district institutes and desired trades. It must be provided in descending order at the nodal institute of their district within the predetermined time frame.
