KCET 2024 Application Form has been re-opened on 30th March 2024. KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance test conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority). The examination is conducted to provide admission into various undergraduate courses in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, etc. KCET is conducted once in a year to offer admission into various courses such as B.Tech/ B.E, B.Arch, B.Sc (Hons), B.Pharm etc. Candidates interested in Medical and Architecture courses must qualify the NEET and NATA exam respectively. Note: Candidates can register till 1st April 2024 (4 pm) and fee payment till 1st April 2024 (8 pm).

Candidates must go through the details and guidelines for KCET Application Form 2024 mentioned below:

• KCET 2024 Application Form has been made available through online mode only. No offline mode is provided by the authority.
• Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for KCET 2024 exam.
• The registration form has been released on 10th January 2024.
• Application process includes different phases i.e. registration, filling of application form, documents upload and fee payment.
• Applicants are advised to fill the application form carefully and correctly to avoid rejection.
• Upload the scanned images of photographs, signature, parent signature in the JPEG/ JPG format.
• Candidates can submit the application form till 20th March 2024.
• The authority will also provide the correction facility to rectify mistakes (if any) in March 2024.
• Take a print out of the application form for future references.

Application Fee:

• Application fee can be submitted through both online as well as offline mode.
• Candidates can pay online application fee via Credit card, Debit card and Net banking.
• Payment through challan to one of the designated bank or e-post office will also be accepted.
• The university not refunds the application fee under any circumstances.

Documents Required:

Here are the documents which will be required for KCET Application Form 2024:

• Class 10th marksheet and passing certificate
• Class 12th marksheet and passing certificate
• Scanned passport size photographs (JPEG/ JPG, 5-40KB)
• Scanned signatures (JPEG/ JPG, 5-40KB) etc.

KCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the given eligibility criteria of KCET 2024 before filling the application form:

B.E/ B.Tech Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates passed the class 12th/ 2nd PUC or equivalent examination from a recognised board will be eligible.
• Marks: Students must obtain minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
• Subjects: Applicants must have Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology and English with one of the language subject in their 12th class.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing class 12th in year 2024, will also be eligible to apply.

B.Pharm Course:

• Qualification: Applicants should have passed class 12th/ diploma in pharmacy or its equivalents from any recognised board.
• Marks: Candidates will need to score minimum 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category). 
• Subjects: Students must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology in their qualifying exam.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing class 12th in 2024 year, will also be eligible.

How to Apply for KCET 2024 

The following are the step by step process to fill the KCET Application Form 2024:

• Visit the online website (link is available above).
• Click on the ‘New User’ & Click here to register.
• Click on “Proceed to Apply Online”.
• Fill the registration form by entering the required details such as candidate name, father’s name, gender, email ID, etc.
• Enter the security code and click on the “Submit” button.
• Enter the user ID, password, security code and click on the “Login” button.
• Fill the application form with the personal details, examination details, communication details, study details etc.
• Then click on the “Save and Next” button.
• Upload the scanned images of photographs, signature, left thumb impression and parents signature within the specific size and format.
• Click on the “Submit” button.
• Verify the filled details and press on the “OK” button.
• Pay the application fee by using the available payment gateways.
• After the fee confirmation, download the confirmation page.
• Candidates are suggested to take a printout of the application form for further usage.
