Since 2019, National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting authority for NEET examination. It is a national level entrance exam conducted only once in a year. NEET is known as the only medical entrance exam in India which offers admission to MBBS & BDS courses. Also, it offers admission in Nursing, Ayush & other courses. On the basis of NEET UG scores, AIIMS, JIPMER and various other government & private institutions also offers admission. NEET 2026 Application Form

Check following points regarding NEET 2026 Application Form here:

  • NEET 2026 Application Form will be made available via online mode. No other mode will be entertained.
  • Interested & eligible candidates make sure to submit only one application form as more than one will lead to rejection of candidature.
  • One must make sure to provide valid email ID & phone number as all communication details will be sent to it.
  • At the time of registration, students must not forgot to upload passport size photograph, signature & other documents in prescribed size & format.
  • NTA will also provide correction facility to edit incorrect details in the form for few particulars & for limited period only.
  • Candidates must ensure they fulfill each eligibility norms as form will will be accepted only of eligible candidates.
  • Once all details are completely filled, one must not forgot to take its printout for future use.

The following documents will be required at the time of NEET UG Registration:

  • Passport size photograph
  • Post card size photograph
  • Left & Right Hand Thumb and Finger Impression
  • Category certificate (If required)
  • Citizenship certificate (if applicable)
  • PwBD certificate (If required)
  • Present & Permanent address proof

Application Fee:

  • Candidates will be able to submit NEET UG 2026 application fee via online mode.
  • Mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net banking. Any offline mode such as post or courier will not be applicable.
  • Candidates will also have to submit processing charges & Goods and Services Taxes (GST) applicable by the authority.
  • The NEET UG 2026 application fee for general candidates will be Rs. 1700/-.
  • General-EWS/ OBC NCL category candidates will have to submit Rs. 1600/-.
  • Registration fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Third Gender will be Rs. 1000/-.
  • In any case, application fee will be non-refundable.

How to Apply for NEET

  • Visit Official website (Link will be given above)
  • Register yourself & Note down the system generated application number
  • Enter basic & communication details.
  • Create a password & choose security question & Enter an answer.
  • Now login using system generated application number & pre-created password
  • Upload scanned images of photograph, signature, left & right thumb & finger impression, citizen certificate (if required) & PwD certificate (wherever applicable)
  • Re-check complete entered details in the form
  • Now submit application fee as per your category
  • After fee submission, a confirmation page will appear on your screen
  • Take its print out & keep safe till future use

NEET 2026 Application Correction

NEET 2026 Application correction process will be enabled via online mode. Candidates will be able to edit only few details in the application form. Students must note that it will be one time opportunity. No such facility will be provided later. One must edit their incorrect details within given time period.

The process will be commenced in third week of March 2026. To make changes in NEET application form, candidates will have to use login credentials such as application no. & password. 

NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check following eligibility norms before applying for NEET 2026:

  • Nationality: Indian National Citizen, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Foreign Nationals, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), PIO will be eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Applying candidate must have qualified 12th level examination from any recognized board or university.
  • Age Limit: One must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission. One must be born on or before 31.12.2009.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Applying candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects. Additional subject with biology/ Bio-technology will be also eligible to apply.
  • Percentage: General/ EWS category candidates must have scored atleast 50% marks. For SC/ ST, 40% marks will be required to be eligible.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply.

NEET 2026 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check following details regarding NEET 2026 Exam Pattern here:

  • Exam Mode: NEET 2026 examination will be held via offline (pen and paper based) mode.
  • Language: The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil & Urdu.
  • Duration: Candidates will be given 3 hours 20 minutes to complete the question paper.
  • Type of Questions: Question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, +4 marks will be given. -1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

NEET 2026 Syllabus

NEET 2026 syllabus will be released by the NMC (National Medical Commission). Students must prepare for the exam as per the NMC prescribed syllabus. It will consist of various topics from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Here we have provided some major topics of NEET UG Syllabus:

Physics: Physical-world and measurement, Kinematics, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves etc.

NEET 2026 Admit Card

NEET 2026 Admit Card will be available via online mode. It will be published few days before examination i.e in last week of April 2026. Candidates must keep their login credentials such as application number & password ready to download hall ticket. It will contain all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time & venue and also exam instructions.

Students must note that authority will first release exam city slip & then hall ticket. Students must make sure all details in the admit card are correct as any incorrect details in the card will lead to rejection of candidature.

NEET 2026 Answer Key

NEET 2026 Answer key will be published via online mode. It will be released few days after examination in third week of May 2026. Authority will first release provisional answer key. It will be released in the form of pdf. Candidates will be also given an option to make challenges against answer key (if anY) by paying Rs. 200 per question.

Once objection period gets over, authority will publish final answer key. With the help of key, candidates will be able to assume their marks even before result declaration. Though, one must make sure that result will be prepared on the basis of final answer key.

NEET 2026 Result

NEET 2026 Result will be made available via online mode. It will be published in third week of June 2026. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number & password to download result. NEET 2026 Result will be announced by NTA.

Result will contain details such as candidate’s name, roll number, D.O.B, marks obtained  & qualifying status. It will be pre[ared on the basis of final answer key. Further, it will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process.

NEET 2026 Cut Off

NEET 2026 Cut Off Criteria will be released separately by various institutes & official authority. Cut Off are the minimum marks one have to score to qualify the examination. It depends on various factors such as no. of candidate’s appeared, difficulty level of exam previous year cut off trend etc.

NEET 2026 Counselling

NEET 2026 Counselling procedure will be held via online mode. It will get commenced in July 2026. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling session. The 15% All India Quota (AIQ) Seats & 85% State Quota will be held separately by the state counselling authority.

Counselling will include various steps such as registration, choice filling, allotment & then admission. The counselling procedure for 15% AIQ, Deemed Universities/Central Universities/Seats of ESIC & AFMC including BHU & AMU will be managed by Medical Council Committee (MCC). One must know that admission will be given to candidates after fee submission & verification of documents.
