MIT WPU Pune Eligibility Criteria 2027
Know course wise eligibility criteria in the below provided section:
B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering):
- Qualifying level: Applying candidate should have passed Class 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent from a recognised board or university.
- Qualifying Marks & Subjects: Students should have obtained minimum aggregate of 50% marks in 12th/ HSC with English (minimum 45% marks for reserved category from Maharashtra State)
He/she should also have minimum of 50% marks in any one among groups – PCM/ PCB/ Physics & Mathematics with any Technical vocational subject OR - Candidate should have a diploma in Engineering & Technology in relevant branch with minimum of 60% aggregate marks
Note: Biology/ Biotechnology is applicable only for Bioengineering programme.
MBA:
- Candidate should have 3/4 year Graduation degree in any stream from a UGC approved university/ institution with minimum 60% aggregate marks (55% minimum aggregate marks for reserved category from Maharashtra State) AND
- Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC exam with English as a compulsory subject AND
- A valid non-zero score in relevant entrance exam conducted by competent authority.
MIT WPU Pune 2027 Admission Procedure
The admission procedure of MIT WPU begins with filling the application form and appearing for entrance test. The selection process varies for different courses.
B.Tech Procedure: The university provides admission on the basis JEE/ MHT CET/ PERA-CET/ MHT CET/ NEET and other national/state level entrance test along with a 500-word Statement of Purpose (SOP) written by the candidate.
MBA Procedure: As per the selection procedure, admission is provided based on merit of valid score in CAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAH CET, MAT, PERA CET AND
Through 50 marks online CBT, GD, PI score, extempore conducted by MIT-WPU as per prescribed schedule along with consideration of their past academic record and work experience AND
Valid (non-sero) national level entrance score is compulsory for admission confirmation.
MIT WPU Pune 2027 Entrance Exam
MIT WPU Pune conducts its own university level entrance exam known as MIT WPU CET which offers great opportunity to learners who wish to take admission at MIT WPU. Students appearing for the same are advised to go through complete MIT WPU CET Syllabus and pattern provided on the university website.
The key features of the MIT WPU CET exam includes –
- MIT WPU CET is an online CBT exam which students can appear from their home or convenient places using a laptop or mobile.
- Students must ensure to have good internet connectivity and uninterrupted power supply during exam.
- The online CBT exam will be of 150 marks which includes online CBT of 100 marks and/or online personal interaction (PI) of 50 marks.

MIT WPU 2027 Merit List
The University releases merit list which includes the names of candidates arranged according to their scores, percentile in entrance exam or qualifying exam as applicable.
Result of MIT WPU CET regarding selection of candidates will be published on candidate’s dashboard individually. It will be released in the third week of January 2027.
The allocation of courses to eligible candidates is done based on percentile/ ranks/ scores in respective entrance exams and/ or qualifying exams according to the eligibility and merit cut off defined for relevant selection procedure.

MIT WPU Pune Counselling 2027
The seat allocation is done which includes process of assigning seats to eligible candidates strictly based on entrance exam performance, merit, qualifying exam performance, programme eligibility and availability of seats. After the declaration of result/ merit list, students must track their selection status to proceed for counselling process.
