Punjab JET 2021 Document Verification & Admission fee submission for 2nd round can be done till 29th September 2021. Admission will be on the basis of marks secured by candidate in 10^th level examination. The admission form will be released by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT), Chandigarh. It is a state level admission procedure through which candidates will get admission into various regular & part time diploma courses in the engineering & non-engineering field. The admission procedure will be organized for candidates into various diploma courses in the Punjab state. No entrance exam will be organized for admission in diploma courses. Punjab JET 2021 Important Dates

Candidates must go through following table regarding Punjab JET Important Dates:

Punjab JET 2021 Counselling

Punjab JET Counselling Registration has been started from 19th August 2021 for first round. It is organised via online mode. It will be web-based online off campus counselling. The counselling procedure has been started from 19th August 2021. After every round of counselling, seat allotment result will be going to reveal on website.

The procedure comprise of various steps will be as mentioned below:

• Registration: To participate in the counselling procedure, candidates must register themselves as per schedule of counselling. Candidates will be also required to submit their registration details.
• Counselling first round: Candidates will have to choose their own choice branch & institutes on website as per the convenience. Candidates will be informed through short message on the computer screen.
• Seat allotment Result: Candidate who will freeze their seat online will be able to view resultafter some days. Candidates will be able to check their result through login & will be able to print it for further use.
• Admission confirmation: Candidates admission will be confirmed after paying admission fee & after submission of fee, candidates will also have to update their status whether they will join or not.
• Second round counselling: If a candidate wants to update their information they will have to participate in second round of counselling and can change their choice. Seat allotment will be done as per final preference of candidate.

Punjab JET 2021 Admission Procedure

Once seat allotment process will be done, candidates will have to report to the allotted college to confirm their admission. Punjab JET Admission Procedure will be organised.

For admission confirmation, candidates will have to show their original documents & fee deposit proof. Candidates will have to report to allotted institute as per the prescribed schedule. Candidates will have to bring original as well as photo-stated copies of documents for verification & submission respectively. The following documents will be required at the time of admission:

• Qualification marksheet
• Character certificate (from last attended institution)
• Date of Birth (Matriculation certificate)
• Domicile certificate
• Certificate in support to claim reserved category, etc.

Punjab JET 2021 Merit List

The merit list will be prepared as per the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying exam. Punjab JET Merit List will be published on website via online mode. The authority will release the merit list for shortlisting the candidate for the counselling.

It will be made available on 26th August 2021. Candidates will be able to see their rank in merit list & can also view by login on the portal. Candidates are advised to take printout of their rank card for the upcoming admission process.

Punjab JET 2021 Application Form

Candidates must go through following details regarding Punjab JET Application Form:

• Punjab JET 2021 Application Form has been released on website via online mode.
• Candidates are able to fill the application form from 19th August 2021.
• The last date to submit the application form is till 23rd August 2021.
• Candidates must have to provide all the details such as qualification, address, phone number, mail ID and all asked details in the application form.
• While filling application form, candidates must also upload passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
• At last, candidates must also take printout of filled in application form for further use.

Application Fee:

• Candidates are able to submit the application fee via online mode.
• The mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net banking.
• The application fee for Punjab JET 2021 will be Rs.550/-
• Application fee is non-refundable in any case.

Punjab JET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to go through following eligibility norms before applying for Punjab JET 2021:

• Nationality: Indian national citizen are eligible to apply for Punjab JET 2021.
• Qualification: Candidates must have qualified 10^th or equivalent examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for Punjab JET 2021.
• Mandatory Subject: Candidates must have Science & Mathematics as their mandatory subject in qualifying examination.
• Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for Punjab JET.
