Khalsa College, Amritsar
Khalsa College is an historic educational institution situated in the north Indian city of Amritsar in the state of Punjab, India. The college was founded in 1892. Khalsa College is academically affiliated to the Guru Nanak Dev University and it has approval of ICAR. The college is situated at Guru Arjun Nagar, Putligarh, Amritsar, Punjab.
Campus
The sprawling 300-acre (1.2 km2) campus is located about eight kilometers from the city-center on the Amritsar-Lahore highway (part of the Grand Trunk Road), adjoining Guru Nanak Dev University campus. The campus also houses Khalsa College of Education, Khalsa College for Women, Khalsa College of Pharmacy, Khalsa College Girls High Schools, Khala College Boys senior Secondary school and Khalsa College Public School.
Facilities
It has well-equipped and spacious institutional library subscribes national and international journals, e-journals and stocks thousand of books related to Pharmaceutical and related area. The college has well furnished and ventilated class-rooms with modern teaching aids like multimedia projectors attached with computers, slide projectors, overhead projectors, etc. The college has well-equipped conference hall with high tech presentation facilities. It has hundreds of variety of medical plant garden with their biological nomenclature.

Placement
Khalsa College, Amritsar has separate training and placement cell which conducts the various programs related to placement for the students.
